The best and fresh vegan Mexican food ever - Edit
So tasty I had to add this to the listing. I first tried Burrito Buoy food when they provided food for the Waiting Room bar.
Read moreIt’s was a really cold day but the walk down the harbour was worth it. The vegan burrito bowl was tasty with lots of fresh veggies, dips and salsa. Also the side tortilla chips with salsa was also a nice addition.
Now Burrito Buoy has moved from Folkestone harbour to their own premise on Tortine Street. The menu has expanded and most things can be made vegan. My favourite items are the vegan nachos (with vegan cheese) & vegan burrito/ burrito bowl (no need to add vg cheese - super delicious without it).
Cocktails are also super good too.

Amazing portions and tasty options - Edit
Massive burritos and other options, and always happy to make things vegan. Taco Thursdays with their tempeh tacos especially recommend!

Tasty food, big portions - Edit
Burrito Buoy was one of my staples on the Harbour Arm so it's nice they have a new venue with indoor seating, and it's actually a more convenient location for a weekday lunch break or trip into town.
Read moreThe old favourites return but there's also a lot more choice on the menu now too. The burrito is always good, as is the burrito bowl (which is also GF) but they also now do quesadillas, tostadas and wraps, with a special lunchtime offer on Fridays. They also now stock vegan cheese for £2 extra.
I've been to the new site a couple of times so far and it's a great vibe and location (long-time Folkestone vegenauts will remember it as home of Beano's!) On my most recent trip I had the wet burrito, which is a burrito cooked in an enchilada sauce. I might love enchiladas more than I love burritos so that's a good fit for me! The vegan one comes with a generous topping of guacamole instead of sour cream and cheese, although you can pay extra for Sheese if you want.

Lots of food, less creativity - Edit
Maybe I'm biased by my opinion that a good burrito shouldn't include rice but the vegan burrito is the same as the meat and vegetarian options but just with all the non vegan bits taken out. So you end up with a lot of rice! It is still really tasty and would recommend for any burrito lovers, but for the price it would be nice to see something added as well

Thank you for the positive words. We may remove the cheese and sour cream from the veg burrito but we add guacamole which is made daily, from scratch in-house, hence the same price. Just felt important to mention 😉
