Authentic Desi Food

An excellent selection of delicious Indian food. Really authentic (spent over a year in India)

Fresh tasting and excellent chutneys to compliment the dishes. Fresh, pretty healthy and mostly vegan.

The ginger and tamarind cider goes well with the dishes.

I’ve been twice in 24 hours. Highly recommended.

Pros: Great value , Chilled vibes , Good healthy food

Always good

Always a decent meal here. Staff are chilled but attentive, loads of choice on the menu, the food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. Definitely one of our top choices when we’re in the area. Staff are knowledgeable about gluten free options too.

Pros: Lots of choice , Reasonable priced , Friendly staff

Piccadilly Palare

Beer and curry is the talk of the town here. Spacious and colourful with an impressive range of locally brewed ales and some from further afield. The food menu is astounding in my opinion. Simple, tasty and filling street food. Having been to the Leeds branch numerous times it was a pleasure to try one of the two Manchester openings. The okra fries are always a must and the rest is up to you. Expect to pay £40 to £50 per couple these days.

Pros: Great vibes , Good beers , Many vegan items

Amazing Food

Vibe was good with a nice selection of beers brewed by them - pretty much all vegan. Menu was very vegan friendly. Okra fries are something to behold quite honestly! Ate the food so quickly that I completely forgot to take photos! Fairly priced.

Pros: Amazing Food , Good amount of vegan options, Good beer selection

Cons: Disposable tableware

Cool vibe and quirky food

Tasty food and an all-round good vibe. The vegan options hit more than they miss. The okra fries are addictive. All items are clearly marked on what's vegan and what's veggie. Nice beer, too. You can't go wrong!

Amazing quick food, Great atmosphere and cool local beers

I have had literally every vegan dish from Bundobust and have returned quite frequently - be it on a date, with friends or just by myself and every time I am still blown away by the food! Love it and couldn’t recommend it enough.

Great food, great atmosphere, great style

We ate here for lunch after visiting the brewery the day before. We had the tarka dhal and chole saag with a pint of the coriander lager and a vinho verde.
Absolutely delicious food and great service despite it being a really busy day with the half marathon and footy going on.
Great place, highly recommended and who doesn't love a curry brunch/lunch?

Pros: Location, Reasonably priced food, Stylish

Converts all meat eaters

Nom nom, out and about in Manchester and took a non veggie bod to Bundo for the win, and I did win! Ordered some of the classics from the menu and everyone was happy.

The place is massive, much bigger than the Leeds branch, more of a beer hall set and definitely with all the right drinks to match! You must go if you have never been.

Really tasty food!

Visited here today for the first time and certainly won't be the last!

Was going to have the Vegan Combo for 2 but my non vegan boyfriend preferred the sound of the Indo-Chinese Combo for 2 that is currently the special. It came with 6 dishes with 4 of them being vegan.

Enjoyed all 4, the Tofoo was really good but the Salt and Pepper Okra fries were the best! The Miso Kheera was really good, who knew cucumber could taste so good?!

Pros: Lots of options clearly labelled , Nice atmosphere , Friendly staff

Cons: Seating on benches is not the best , Maybe a vegan dessert would be good

Amazing food but some downsides to the place

High quality food with some twists on staple Indian curries! The place is definitely one of the hip dining hotspots with all up- and downsides that come with it: Fast reliable service, excellent food as a plus. Loud music, fashionable but uncomfortable seating and disposable tableware as minus!

Pros: many vegan options, excellent food

Cons: disposable tableware, uncomfortable seating

Indian street food, beer and cocktails.

Lively place offering Indian street food, craft beer and cocktails. All the cocktails are vegan! We ordered some far far while we were waiting and it was exactly what you want when you are drinking a nice cold beer. We also ordered the Vegan combo for 2 (£33), it included Sweetcorn Chevdo, Okra Fries, Sprout Bhajis, Bhel Puri, Raghda Pethis, Chole Saag. Everything was really tasty but felt like way too much food for two people. You definitely need to be hungry if you order it. The bhajis, sweetcorn chevo and okra fries were a particular highlight. The other dishes were tasty but were a little too similar to each other in taste and texture.

Expensive and disappointing

Dunno where all these other reviewers went. Done up like a cross between a Wagamama and a school canteen, with stupidly loud music, the vibe didn't begin well. We spent £45 on a few side dishes and a couple of beers and felt robbed. Wouldn't return for even one of the items we had. Environmentally catastrophic too - don't have compostable plates you idiots, have plates you wash and reuse. Completely beyond me how it seems so popular. Any Indian restaurant would be cheaper and vastly superior.

Cons: Expensive, Just not very good food, Environmentally catastrophic

Exceptionally tasty

Went during pandemic pre-tiers but post-lockdown when people could eat in pairs but not more than 1 household etc etc. The menu was limited but we were so happy with everything that came, and it was super quick too!

Amazing Indian street food

This place offers vegetarian Indian street food with many vegan options. You can choose from a variety of small bowls, so perfect for sharing. I can absolutely recommend the okra fries. You are mostly seated on long tables and order and pick up your food yourself. Although it's compostable I wish the food wouldn't be served in disposable bowls with single-use cutlery.

Pros: many vegan options , cool interior design

Cons: not all-vegan , disposable bowls and cutlery

Supercool vibe with delicious food

Relaxed bar/restaurant with amazing vegetarian Indian street food. We love this place. The food is interesting and tasty as well as being well priced. The drinks are great too with a very large selection of beers as well as lovely g&t and soft drinks like lassie. A great weekend chill out and suitable for a casual dinner or a messy night out.

Pros: Great food, Cool atmosphere

Cons: Location a bit dodgy
