Amazing gyozas! - Edit
Best gyoza we’ve had in Japan! The Hakata ramen was also delicious. It was a bit of a wait to get in as there are only 3 tables but was definitely worth it.

A highlight of my trip to Japan - Edit
All the food was delicious and well-priced. I had a strawberry smoothie, Hakata ramen, matcha balls (which were like biscuits), and a chocolate chip cookie. The ramen was a tad salty but it was all spot on otherwise. There are many other options I’d like to come back some day to try. The server spoke English very well and was friendly :)
Read moreThere is a small cone/sign object in front of the building to show where the restaurant is.
Be aware that the restaurant is cash-only. There are only a couple tables in the restaurant, but I can assure you it is worth the wait if you encounter a queue.
Pros: Delicious food, Friendly staff!, Again, delicious food
Cons: A bit hard to find, Cash only

Some of the best food I had in Japan - Edit
Very greatful that a German girl let me join her at her table when I was here a few weeks ago, because with only three tables this little restaurant fills up quickly and the food was so worth it. As most will know, it is difficult to find good vegetarian/vegan food in Japan that is actually Japanese and not Indian/Italian etc., so this was a real treat. Especially enjoyed the gyoza.

Cute Restaurant with yummy soup - Edit
I came here twice to have dinner! Both times were super delicious and filling! I also ate their chocolate cookies as dessert and enjoyed them very much! It’s a little bit hard to find at first, but a neighbor helped me while I was looking lost in the area of the restaurant. To find it look for a white cone that has the name on it. Walk inside the apartment building and take the elevator to 2F. It will be behind a blue door which has also the name on it.

Great tasting ramen! - Edit
I went twice in a row, so tasty. The location is wrong on HappyCow, but Google maps has it correct. It’s also hard to find, it requires you to go into an appartment complex. FYI, We had to wait 1 hour both times to get a table (only 3 tables).

Top Ramen - Edit
One of the best vegan ramen I've had in Japan. A thick but simple broth. It's a very small place and like other reviewers have said, a little difficult to find but if you follow the instructions posted on Happy Cow you should be able to find it.

Delicious ramen and smoothie - Edit
This restaurant was so cozy and the owners were really kind. I had the Hakata ramen and it was really delicious. What really blew my mind though was the strawberry smoothie, it was probably the best smoothie I've ever had. Would definitely return if I had the chance! There was a tip jar where all money collected were to go to animal causes.

Book ahead to eat here but worth it! Had the tonkatsu soy ramen and it was so hearty. It’s only a small restaurant with 3 seats but we found it easy to book the night before. The owner was so friendly and kind and wanted to make sure that we were okay. If you love ramen and used to love tonkatsu ramen prior to veganism I highly recommend this place!

You'll not regret it 🌱 - Edit
Had the Vegan Tantanmen Set 🍜 which was exceptionally tasty. Never had a more creamy ramen base in my 6 weeks in Japan. Outstanding!
Read moreBoth desserts, the Parfait as well as the Lemon cake were delicious. All in all well spend money! More expensive than elsewhere but worth the experience surely. 🌱
Super nice that they have the Vegan Ramen 🍜 in their shop 🛒which were nowhere to be found elsewhere im Fukuoka.
🍜 Vegan Tantanmen Set (3500¥)
Creamy base with flat noodles. The fresh toppings like cherry tomatoes do fit very well.
🍰🍋 Vegan Lemon Cake was so fluffy and just awesome especially in combo with the whipped cream which was not too soft.
🍧🍓 Vegan Parfait
Awesome by the looks awesome by the taste. Not too cold that you'll get the freeze while biting but perfectly right to enjoy.
🥤Fruits enzyme soda
Was not bad but would have better suited if served to the main dish. Imo it is a bit comparable to apple cider.
🍵 Organic Soy Milk Matcha
The drinks are served with the dessert. Not with the main. Intensive Matcha flavor. Not at all comparable with the ones from Starbucks or similar.

Amazing Ramen-set - Edit
We went to Bugoro to eat the vegan Ramen-Set. We read about the limited space for only 3 customers but we were super lucky since there was only one customer present when we arrived. The owner was supernice and the vegan Ramen was mindblowing. On top of that was a superb presentation (plating) of the food, amazing attention to detail! I highly recommend this place, the price is appropriate for the amount of work put into making this food.

Wonderful Hakata style ramen - Edit
This was the most delicious Ramen I have had in Japan. I had the Hakata style ramen. The soup was rich and flavorful, and surpassed my greatest expectations. I’ve read about how famous Fukuoka is for its ramen based on pork bones, and it is hard to imagine vegan food matching that intensity of flavor, but for me, this was as good as I can imagine the meat version could be. The chef added small slivers of pickled ginger, which were little flavor bombs tha would occasionally surprise your tastebuds. Delightful.
Read moreThe matcha was excellent.
The dessert plate was also great - so many pieces I was not sure if I was to just pick one or two things, but no, it was all for me! Joy!
I am very grateful that the chef has given me the chance to enjoy such food.
I eat a low salt diet, and I should have asked for a less salty dish when I booked the meal. For most people I’m sure it was perfect. She gave me a copy of her recipe for this dish, and it explains how to vary the saltiness.
Finally, this is a short walk from the Ohori Park Japanese Garden, which is beautiful.
Pros: Flavors were amazing. Great textures. Beautiful., Atmosphere was perfect. Almost like a home., The chef spoke very good English.

Absolutely worth the trip out to Ropponmatsu! If you are looking for an authentic Japanese experience (which is difficult to find when vegan!), you must come here.

Best Food In All Of Japan - Edit
Bugoro All Vegan is a hidden gem within Fukuoka. I ordered the Hakata ramen and afternoon tea set. I was advised by the owner that ordering the ramen and tea set would be too much food. I took her words as a challenge.
Read moreThe ramen was easily the best that I have ever had. The iced matcha soy latte, panna cotta, parfait, and shake were scrumptious. I didn’t have a chance to eat the pastries as I am saving them for tomorrow once my belly shrinks back down to normal.
Words of wisdom…For anyone wanting to eat as much as I, I advise taking some of it to go. It truly is a lot of food; however I wanted to try it all.
Im really looking forward to my next trip back to Fukuoka just so I can experience another vegan meal at Bugoro All Vegan. Mahalo Nui Loa and A Hui Hou.
Pros: 1. Hakata Ramen and Afternoon Tea Set, 2. Authentic Japanese Experience , 3. Kindest owner in the world.
Cons: 1. I wish I had a bigger stomach to eat more. , 2. We need a Bugoro All Vegan in Hawaii.

Hidden gem and a must eat!! - Edit
Very small and cosy cafe style spot run by a very friendly and kind lady who has been vegan for more than 20 years. Serves super delicious Hakata style tonkotsu ramen with thick and creamy soup. The vegan dessert is top notch as well. Had a great chat. Definitely a must visit. Looking forward to the next trip to try the tantan noodles!

Must go in Fukuoka!! - Edit
I debated going here as it was a bit of a detour but I could not be happier that I did! It’s a tiny little restaurant (could probably seat 5 ppl max) with a homely, intimate vibe, run entirely by 1 vegan lady (who is absolutely lovely)! The food was insanely delicious! I honestly think it was my best meal in my entire Japan trip so I went back the next day! The Hakata Ramen set, soy matcha and apple cake were my favorites. Definitely don’t miss this place if you’re in the area. It’s worth every cent and will leave you feeling full and joyful! 🌱
