We went here defeated by the boiling heat, and went as the happiest ( and fullest ) vegan food connoisseurs on earth. Visiting Italy, we obviously had to try the vegan carbonara, which was absolutely breath taking, the other pasta dish ( forgot the name but it had mushrooms and „meat“ in it ) was amazing aswell. The cheese cake we shared for dessert was very rich with chocolate but so good. The staff was super nice aswell and we instantly got a table with a nice view. Amazing experience and HUGE recommendation!!

A definite when in Rome - Edit
I shared a mixed starter with my husband, then had carbonara followed by tiramisù. It was all great, but the highlight was the carbonara- I found myself using the last of the pasta to mop up every bit of the delicious sauce!

An oasis for vegans - Edit
There is so much to do in this part of Rome... What a treat to have a vegan option here! We ate here two nights and tried different things every time: pizza, pasta, salad. I don't think you can go wrong. The portions were filling. The cocktails and mocktails were fantastic too.

I tried the vegan carbonara which was amazing (big portion and reasonably priced as well)! The nutella cheesecake for dessert was delicious as well. Our server was kind and knowledgeable, the vegan wine he recommended was really good.

The thing I like most is being able to order confidently and try things that I wouldn't be able to try in a non-vegan establishment. We've actually been here twice already during our trip to Rome and will probably go again tonight. Good food, excellent service and lovely environment.

We went there several times on our stay in Rome, because the Food was excellent and the Location in the Heart of Rome very easy to reach. Best vegan Carbonara we ever had. But also other things where very tasteful, as the traditional fried olives with (here) vegan filling, or the homemade Pasta with cacio e pepe-sauce. Also the Oreo-Tiramisu you have to try

Buddy VEGGY has a fairy expansive menu - you won't be short on tasty vegan options heading here! The restaurant is quite large, and clean, and the staff were friendly and efficient.
Read moreWe tried a pasta and pizza dish, and both were pretty good. The dessert wasn't half-bad either. The menu offers a big range which is great - and plenty of options are gluten-free friendly.
Overall this is a good run-of-the-mill Vegan restaurant. We would probably more accurately rate it 3.5/5. There's nothing particularly bad about this restaurant - but by that same token, it is just generally good with nothing standing out to make it exceptional. As we've said before - we are always grateful for these kinds of generally good vegan eats!

The Best Italian Vegan Food I’ve Ever Had. - Edit
This place deserves 6 stars, and I mean it. After having to sit at another non vegan restaurant for an hour or so, I decided to swing over here, and I was BLOWN AWAY by the beautiful restaurant and the food that I received. It makes me so happy to see that even in the middle of Rome there is a vegan restaurant as wonderful as this one. So so happy with this place.
