If you dislike this cafe, you should call your doctor immediately and tell em your ticker is all tuckered out and to script you a bottle of the hard stuff tout suite to put yourself out of your incurable misery, because you're already gone.
Read moreNo denying the cafe is in a crap location in a strip mall twenty minutes by car from the center of town, but it's worth it. I'd be here every freaking day if I were local. I might even adopt a bushel of babies just to have people to bring here and spread the joy this casual cafe inspires. My toast was great, smoothie and coffee too were spot on.

I had the original burger with a mushroom patty and it was super good! The bun was soft, the mushroom was fried to a perfect crispness and the sauce paired really well. The chips was also really crispy and delicious. The soup of the day was cauliflower and it was creamy and thicc 🥴 I also tried my partners teriyaki katsu, first of all the miso soup packed a ton of flavour but was light at the same time. The yellow rice added a second layer of flavour which was really good. Overall everything was very good. Bonus points: toilets were super clean I appreciate that

The brown poodle itself greeted us at the door with a woof when we entered! Many choices on the menu, excellent service, delicious food. We tried a classic black bun burger, kimchi soup and a salad with deep fried mushrooms, salted caramel cake for dessert. The portions were generous and we ended up taking some home along with an order of nasi goreng to have the next day. Would eat here again if we come back to Penang.

Yet another gem in Penang! I ordered a variety of entrees and drinks, including curry rendang, curry rendang pizza, fries, mushroom salad, and more. Everything was so delicious, I ended up getting the avocado smoothie and salad for takeaway! The fries were especially delicious. I highly recommend trying their drinks and affogato too - very good!! If I'm back in the area, I will return!

Vegan heaven! 🌿 All the food is vegan, and super tasty. From salads, to rice and noodle dishes, pasta, burger, pizza, cake and more desserts, this place has it all. The interior is stylish and cozy, staff is kind and helpful and the general atmosphere is thus very relaxing. It’s a bit outside of town but well worth a trip!

I had a craving for a burg so I got the Runaway chicken that was good but not five stars. I saw the mala hot pot noodles and added as well. So good. Five stars. Even delivered this was still piping hot. And amazing. Tingly, spicy and the depth of flavor I’ve only had in China. Get these noodles.

Excellent value for money- the portions were huge. Certainly my best fish and chips in South East Asia! Highly recommend. Great chilled ambience there too!

Be sure to try the burger set here. We ordered black and brown burger set (RM25 each). It is common sense to eat with French fries. It is very satisfying. Remember to tell the staff that you are a Vegan! The mushroom soup of the day is also very tasty, very rich in taste, I can't control myself to keep eating as a mushroom lover 😋

Small and super cute little place with a sizeable menu of Western dishes and some Asian items as well. I got the lunch combo Black Poodle burger and a vegan brownie. Portions are decent and they can veganize most items on the menu if you just ask them (they can sub vegan cheese!). Reasonably priced, friendly service, comfortable seating. Highly recommend!

Read moreSmall selection of noodles, rice and burgers. Portions are just right. Food is fresh. Their Kimchi ramen is absolutely delicious (and it's not easy to find VEGAN kimchi ramen!). They have vegan cakes daily as well that are all as good. Vegetarian dishes can easily be veganised by request (menu is clearly marked). Coffee with vegan milk is available too. Prices are average and very reasonable.
The cafe is cosy and chill, where customers take off their shoes as they enter. Parking is available outside their shop. Definitely recommend for a nice cosy experience alone or with a small group.

Very clean, cosy cafe near gurney plaza. Everything vegetarian however pretty much everything can be made vegan upon request. Came here twice so far and loved it, first time had a burger, chocolate banana smoothie and cheesecake and the second time the cheese baked curry, chocolate banana smoothie and brownie (all vegan). Must try the vegan brownie with icecream however would recommend all the food we enjoyed all of it! They also have a cute poodle called poppy and the staff are lovely. It’s tucked away in a housing area but still fairly easy to find.
