Magnificent vegan sushi! - Edit
I’ve never been much of a sushi lover, but this restaurant just changed my mind. Exceptionally good sushi with the most amazing tastes. We ordered the introduction plate with different sushi and it was an adventure. Would definitely go back. #Veganuary

Best vegan Sushi I ever had! - Edit
brEAThe is a cute little restaurant on a quieter street in the heart of Paris. The food was incredibly delicious and the staff very friendly. We had one tasting menu, ramen, and a cocktail. The tasting menu was incredible, so we definetly recommend to take this one!

Amazing sushi in Paris with fun and creative flavours. We liked it so much that we ordered seconds 😋 Service was also very friendly (which can be scarce in France😅)!

amazing quality and creative ideas! - Edit
we had lunch here on a sunday (different menu than on other days, sadly no ramen available) and chose the vegan cucumber and dill makis and the crispy seitan - both very tasty! our favourite thing was the homemade sparkling lemonade, it was refreshing and just delicious! you can taste the high quality of the food and drinks, everything you order looks extremely appealing and i appreciate the fact that (mostly?) everything is homemade - so the restaurant being on the rather pricier side is totally justified! had a great time here 🍣🧡

While other vegan sushi places try to stay traditional with mock tuna, here they try totally new things, with this I also mean totally different tastes that we normally are not linking with sushi… 1 extraordinary sushi was very good: the aubergine/eggplant.

Great Ramen! - Edit
The Seitan crispies where a surprise, as they had a different consistency as we expected. Very delicious.
Read moreThe ramen was amazing. I have had already a lot of Ramen around the world, and most were either just hot and spicy or only tasted like garlic or did only have a few ingredients... so I have to say that this Ramen definitely got into my top 3, if not already reached number 1... I have to re-evaluate with another restaurant :)
As desserts, we had the two Sundaes, which we enjoyed a lot.
When leaving, we got offered a shot on the house, and they even adapted one of them to alcohol free! It was a three ingredient shot, which was not mixed and had to be taken bottoms up, and this was one of the greatest shots I ever had, as the taste was changing several times in the mouth. Really great experience!

Pros: Ramen!, Delicious shot in the house, Tastings offered

Delicious vegan sushi - Edit
brEAThe is an excellent choice if you, like me, miss a proper sushi experience. It's very much European sushi, but the experience, in terms of aestethics, presentation, and flavour, does feel like proper sushi. A set menu is highly recommended to try many different kinds of sushi - only the fried seitan was a bit bland, otherwise everything was excellent. And it's not terribly expensive either, for what you get. Highly recommended!

Some of the best vegan sushi I’ve ever had! - Edit
Blew me away. I’m sad to say I ordered it to-go and never even got to see the inside, which would’ve elevated the experience even more. All I can say is that was some BOMB vegan sushi and there might be only one other place I’ve ever been to with similarly good sushi. Go try it!!

Exceptional vegan sushi - Edit
A must visit when you‘re in Paris. They serve unique sushi-creations such as sushi with citrus-tempeh and olive-cream. The other dishes we tried were amazing as well, especially the desserts (which we ate before we could take a picture). We also got free (alk or non-alk) shots before we left.

Great sushi - Edit
A great find in Paris! We had the sample platter with different kinds of sushi, deep fried seitan sticks and edamame beans. There were so many interesting flavors, a great experience. The kids had the ramen without extras, so I tried a little of that too and it was a bit bland - great to have that option, but I'd recommend adding extras for grown up taste buds!

Most fabulous meal in Paris - Edit
The most perfect, fabulous meal I’ve ever had. On par with my favourite fine dining, special occasion restaurant at home. The flavours are fresh and exciting, finding something new in every bite of the sushi! The sauces are divine — especially with the seitan. It is impossible to choose a standout and the only regret is not ordering the entire menu to try. Must recommend always getting the edamame as it’s the perfect dish to eat between bites of everything. The drinks are also so fabulous, I had the most delicious and zesty negroni. For dessert - go with the strawberry sorbet sundae.

I don't get it... - Edit
As a vegan foodie, I visited this place with a high level of anticipation after reading the reviews. The food looked beautiful, but the food was awful. I don't understand why this place is so popular. There was good service, but it was some of the most bland food I've ever had. We got the tasting menu so there was a lot of food and variety, but everything was inexplicably covered in bland cream sauces that tasted exactly the same and were only different in color. Also, when I went, it was required to have a smartphone to read the menu there which is annoying. For these prices they should have at least a menu board or one print out of the menu for people without cell phones or data service plans to use the read the menu.

Absolute No for me - Edit
I was really looking forward to eating some sushi. I am pregnant so I feel a bit limited to fully vegan sushi spots as I am afraid that vegan sushi where fish is prepared could still be contaminated.
Read moreSo here I was looking for good sushi and was utterly disappointed. The sushi was very bland and not very imaginative. Asking for ginger and soy sauce I got what seemed like a spoonful of sauce and had to ask for more several times. Same with the ginger. The waitress serving me and my friend also seemed to be either extremely bored or annoyed. I couldn't tell. However that also didn't help the experience.
I also didn't appreciate the lack in flexibility. I really don't like edamame but I wanted to get a good taste of the different sushi types they had to offer and ordered the tasting menu. I asked if it would be possible to change the edamame to absolutely anything else. I was told that no changes would be made to accommodate my request but I could just give my edamame to my friend. oO Uhm... thanks? What I also didn't understand was how bland the crispy seitan was. When I asked the waitress explained that it's not the seitan that is offered a la carte because that one would be well seasoned... How is this a Tasting menu then if it's different from what's on the card?! From what I remember on the English menu both (tasting menu and a la carte) seitan had the same dish name. On the French menu they have different name so it may just be an error but one that I personally find irritating for the customer.
When asked about the food I explained that I wasn't happy with it. The staff wanted to make up for it by offering me a free shot. I wore a jacket on my way out, and sat during my stay so I understand my situation wasn't obvious but it still felt like a weird cherry on top. Just absolutely not a place for me to return to. (This place is all vegan so I have to give 2-stars but it's a 1-star rating really...)
Pros: clean location
Cons: taste quality below average, unfriendly staff
