I hardly ever eat sweets. And as far as I can remember I've never had a doughnut before in my life. The reason is simple: it's dough that has been deep fried, then sweetened. Two sins in one!
Read moreBut... since "Brammibal's Donuts" is one of the highest rated vegan places in Berlin (higher than many restaurants!) I had to give it a try. Being a big fan of The Simpsons I opted for the pink doughnut with sprinkles. The dough tasted okay, but the pink frosting is extremely sweet and made the enamel evacuate my teeth right then and there. On the other hand, if you do decide to sin against all health, do it right. Brammibal serves pure vegan sin, done right.
Pros: sweet!
Cons: card only (no cash), an assault to the teeth, vegan, but far from healthy

I’m not typically a sweets person, and I usually only prefer plain cake donuts. These donuts were out of this world! We had one talk with crunched almonds and powdered sugar and filled with a cream filling. The other one was a blueberry topped donut. I really wish I lived near this place, as I would get a doughnut often. The people who work there were super helpful and kind!
