A new favourite in Austin - Edit
I came for breakfast and had their scrambled tofu with potato and leek. I had read lots of good things about their blueberry cornbread so ordered that as well. Probably the best scrambled tofu I’ve had! The cornbread was good and enjoyed it but maybe not quite the hype I’ve read from other reviews. Great atmosphere.

DELICIOUS SAVORY Breakfast! - Edit
Some of the best tofu I’ve had - definitely the best scramble! We were between a couple places and so glad we chose this one. The side potatoes are so flavorful and my partner loved his “eggs renedict.” We’d come back every time we’re in town!! There will likely be a wait if you visit, but so worth it!

One of Austin’s BEST! - Edit
Oh boy do I love this place. Amazing food, revolving art galleries, the BEST staff and brownie butts. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu and I always return to the vegan potato leek omelette, with a side of green and sourdough toast. And if you want an amazing, cheap, super delicious. smaller desert..ask for the brownie butts.

Delicious classic vegan food - Edit
This place is great if you want a hefty, decent, no-frills vegan breakfast or lunch. The tofu scramble was heavy on the nooch (and delicious), the blueberry cornbread was fluffy and warm. For those who've been vegan now for over a decade, you'll find the food here reminds you of the time before vegan products were found pretty much everywhere. A bit nostalgic, a lot delicious. And they include the tip in the bill, which is just good policy and results in better wages for restaurant workers.
Read moreService was also really fast (though I went on a Tuesday morning).
Only thing I'd change is more tofu scramble and bigger pieces. My plate had a lot of teeny tiny pieces of tofu, almost like I had the last of the batch — not sure if that's just how their scramble is though. No harm, no foul...even those tiny pieces were tasty!

Top Notch Choice - Edit
This place really knows their customer base in the vegan community. Great service and so many choices to choose from! They have a long wait for brunch so plan ahead. (I was able to dine at the bar much quicker).

Good but not great - Edit
I had the oven cake breakfast with the tofu scramble. I also tried the vegan queso. Overall, the food wasn’t as good as I expected based on how crowded and highly rated this place is. The vegan queso was watery and the corn bread was dry. Tofu scramble missed the mark for me as well but those are hard to get right.
Read moreLots of lovely options and fast service, maybe I just need to come back and try different menu items. Still a great spot, but not worth the 1hr wait time for brunch. I’ll give it 3.75 out of 5 bananas 🍌🍌🍌🍌

Excellent food - so many choices - Edit
We met some non-vegan friends for dinner, and one of them suggested this restaurant. There were so many choices of vegan/gluten free food, it took 15 mins to read the menu. We ordered the Bandera plate (deconstructed enchiladas) and the vegan BBQ plate, along with a Masala Mocha - all were excellent. We are sad we aren’t staying in town li her so we could go back and try more.

One of My Favorites in Austin!! - Edit
I love grabbing breakfast here and it’s one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. Everything that I have had on their menu has been delicious and I’m never disappointed. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is pretty chill. Some of my favorite dishes on the menu include Wanna B.L.T.A. , El Tipico, El Maximo, and La Donna.

Good food. Dog friendly - Edit
Had the Vegan Renadict plate. Good quantity of food and the hollandaise sauce was delicious. Service was quick for the high crowd volume. Parking was difficult during peak hours. Tofu scramble nicely flavored with good texture. Good selection of vegan and vegetarian options.
Read moreWe had our service dog with us tucked completely under the table and waitress notified of her presence and was asked to be careful about paws but she still managed to step on her paw causing some injury. Will likely need an X-ray. The patio had many dogs present so they are dog friendly and accommodating in general.

Out of this world. Go here! - Edit
I would travel to Austin just for this. My partner and I were in town for just one night while passing through on a road trip, and we’re so glad we chose this spot for breakfast on our way out.
Read moreThe vibe is definitely unique and cool. There are so many little, special touches - from the collection of different light fixtures (my favorite was either the one made from bicycle tires or the one made from paintbrushes) to the wall art to the little image of Totoro painted on a shelf. It’s eccentric and fun.
We were greeted by a host who exuded that air of effortless coolness, where they don’t need to try or care. Maybe because they are paid a livable wage, so they can just be themselves? After we were shown to a table we were quickly greeted by our very sweet, attentive waitress with a killer outfit who kindly helped us decide between our options. If you only get one shot at a restaurant and don’t know when you’ll get the chance to return, you want to pick the right items! I was pleased to see that they treat and pay their staff well here. I’m sure it contributes to the excellent service.
The food blew our minds. The pesto is out of this world; I wish I had the recipe for it. The queso with chorizo is incredible. The blueberry cornbread was scrumptious. Great coffee, too! Everything was to die for. I wish I lived here just so I could eat my way through the whole menu. They’re doing something very right here. #Veganuary

I’ve loved everything I’ve gotten here. I get the spicy pesto every single time and I love an all day breakfast place. If they have the cinnamon rolls (if they haven’t sold out) you must get one!
