Classy, thoughtful and full of flavour - Edit
Easily one of the best fine dining experiences I've ever had.
Read moreEvery detail has been considered, from the setting of the restaurant in a converted home, with the gardens and pool carefully tended to and backlit, to the choice of cups the first drink of the evening, a pandanus and lemongrass juice, is served in.
The staff were incredible, explaining the dishes on the Botanical Feast menu we went with with detail and obvious pride in the local and organic influence. The thoughtful touch of taking guests into the kitchen for their first dish, a spoonful of toasted rice, coconut and palm sugar as explained to us by the head chef, was a first for us and a really nice way to start the meal before being seated.
Each course was flavourful, with interesting colours and textures, and presented in a very modern style. We were full by the end of the evening, but not uncomfortably so, and the portion sizes were appropriate. The stand out dish for me was the galangal infused coconut soup with grilled banana blossoms.
The final course of traditional thai sweets served back in the lounge we started in was the perfect way to finish the night, and we were assured that if we particularly liked anything, they had more.
It was the most expensive meal we had in Bangkok by far, but in our opinion, it was well worth it. Don't miss this if you're in Bangkok and looking for a memorable meal.

Mind blowing experience - Edit
I have been in Thailand for a long time but nothing compares to the Thai food I tried at Bo.Lan. So much thought is put into every single dish, with locally sourced ingredients. Of course they have a vegan menu (botanical). Book at least one month in advance, if you can.

Michelin Star - Most Amazing Food - Edit
I was lucky enough to get a prized reservation at this amazing Michelin-star restaurant. They have a Vegan (botanical) tasting menu. Please be sure you make a reservation about a month in advance. The food is unlike any Thai food you’ve ever eaten! Words just don’t do it justice!
