Pricy but nice - Edit
Wasn’t expecting there to be so much meat but the place was nice and the food was good. WeI had the seitan sirloin which was great, the paella which was ok and the strudel which was interesting.

Vegan Fine Dining - Edit
This place offers a fine dining experience, which is rare if you eat vegan. The atmosphere was very peaceful and polished, and the food was beautiful as well as delicious. We came for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. We had the croquette starter, cooked veggie salad and raw veggie salad for mains, and the chocolate dessert with coffee. Next time I would not order the cooked salad as there were more fried items than preferred, but it was delicious nevertheless. Recommend!

I was confused when we arrived. I expected a vegetarian restaurant. Instead we were seated in a dining room where others were ordering steak from one menu and we were offered the vegetarian/vegan menu. I am still confused. It’s a more refined dining experience at the Catalonia Gran Via Hotel.
Read moreWe had the tomato tartare, Fideau and mushroom Gnocchi. Tartare was good, but tomato pasty forward. The Fideau was served tableside with the little vermicelli noodles and needed more oyster mushrooms. The sauce was brought on the side, almost as an afterthought. The gnocchi was the best option. Bread was complimentary.

Los que abogamos por la gastronomía vegana y que de vez en cuando podemos hacer una escapada por Madrid estamos de celebración. Existe una variedad de restaurantes vegetarianos y veganos en la ciudad (Artemisa, Vega, B13, Distrito Vegano, Sanissimo...), lo cierto es que nunca había tenido la sensación de estar delante de un restaurante que sea referencia. BLoved Veggie Corner se quiere convertir en eso: un restaurante moderno, exclusivo y con sello propio.
Read moreAtrapado por lo cuidado del ambiente y con la carta del menú ya dispuesta en la mesa, no sabía muy bien qué elegir. Sin embargo, mi sorpresa fue cuando el personal de sala se acercó para brindarnos una atención sublime: se esmeraron para que compartiésemos (mi pareja y yo) todas y cada una de las posibilidades que ofrece el restaurante. En una misma visita pudimos probar los deliciosos primeros: croquetas gourmet y el aguacate a la parrilla con queso feta y pesto de avellana. La segunda parte fue correcta: la fideuá vegana adornada (con alga codium, agua de coco y alioli de membrillo) además del risotto vegano de boletus y trigueros. La llamativa milhojas de chocolate y nata vegana junto al coulant de chocolate y helado de frambuesa que nos ofrecieron como variante fueron unos postres magníficos. Cerramos la experiencia con el vino blanco (Legaris Verdejo, D.O. Rueda), el agua y el café de cortesía para completar un menú magnífico teniendo en cuenta el precio y la calidad del servicio.
En definitiva, BLoved Veggie Corner ha sido una sorpresa a medias por la falta de platos más castizos adaptados a nuestra alimentación. En esta ciudad todavía donde todavía no hay referente vegano que sobresalga. El puesto sigue disputado y este restaurante lo quiere abrazar. Sin embargo, hay ganas de volver para probar ese «solomillo de seitán a la pimienta rosa y boniato asado»: sin duda, repetiré.

Lovely restaurant, with a fine dining menu. Full vegan menu available, some of dishes on starter menu are for sharing (dips etc) I went for the "Salmorejo Cordobes" which was like a gazpacho with little bits of tofu on top, it was so flavourful, absolutely delicious, and so refreshing after a hot day of walking around the city.
