Fully vegan bistro in the heart of Copenhagen. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Menu changes quarterly, but usually there is pasta, bowls, traditional smørrebrød and burgers on the menu along with other options. Open Mon-Fri 12:00-23:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-23:00. Kitchen closes 9pm.

Best restaurant I’ve ever been too - Edit
Best food I’ve ever had with great ambiance and kind staff. Went twice when in Copenhagen. Once for breakfast where I got the tofu scramble on toast with an americano and danish. All of it was amazing! Went back for an apérol spritz, pasta carbonara, and tiramisu. All vegan and divine! Must visit!

Good plant-based food. Quite simple but well executed. Especially the carrot on hummus spread was tasty. Was maybe a bit disappointed as I had very high expectations as it was in the top ranks of Happy Cow

The pasta was nice but nothing too special in my opinion. Considering the price I am sure you can find better places for pasta. So not sure why it is so highly rated. Maybe other things on the menu are more interesting?

We stopped in for a spot of breakfast. Decent sized breakfast menu to choose from. We had the tahini peaches and the chickpea pancake. We had a cinnamon roll with a coffee also. The peaches were very tasty, quite filling considering it is one piece of bread. The mix of tahini and sweet peaches was a really nice mix.

Right by Nyhavn this vegan restaurant serves delicious main courses and desserts. The Summer Eve BB and the Tiramisu are amazing and the staff is really friendly.

The food was really delicious- I love how creamy the sauce I order was and overall it was a good dining experience. I was a bit underwhelmed with it though overall. I heard so much about it that, I might have had too high of an expectation of how the food was gonna taste.

Great taste, matches the name of the restaurant perfectly. And they had vegan Smørrebrød, a typical Danish sandwich which I wanted to try really bad but was hard to find as a vegan elsewhere.

The vegan smoked salmon and cavier the best we have ever tasted...they really nailed it on the taste and texture. It's a lovely little place to enjoy delicious coffee and fresh homemade vegan food!

Pleasant setting with friendly staff, but quite expensive and although the food felt good quality and looked good, it was quite lacking in flavour - especially the carbonara. The arancini was really nice but a tiny portion for £10 . I don't think I'd go back for dinner, but maybe try breakfast or lunch.

It's not always easy to find a restaurant with many choices for vegans in Copenhagen, so Bistro Verde was great to find. We had the Buddha bowls which were very generous and varied in taste and texture, filling and delicious. Plenty of other more regular options too which would satisfy most tastes.

Awesome choices of smørrerbrød and other sandwiches. Also nice choices of breakfast and dinner. For all categories they only have it for certain time slots although we saw them make exceptions so you can also order something from the "dinner" menu at noon. They also had great desserts.

Had the carbonara (with vegan Parmesan!), peach lemonade and a flødeboller for dessert (marshmallow covered in chocolate). Staff were so lovely and food was incredible, fancy going back for the traditional danish food.

This is definitely one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. In addition to the absolutely amazing food (we had the cabonara and oyster mushrooms), they have walls full of dog photos. 🐶

Don’t understand people in the reviews are marking this place down for price - it’s typical of all places in Copenhagen and you are round the corner from Nyhavn!
