I really enjoyed the “Vegetarian in Barbados” bagel and my friend had the “Cream Cheese and Friends”. There were so many veggie and vegan options and although I had regular cream cheese, vegan cheese was available too. Nice outside seating too!!

They had 3 vegan bagels, I had the Athens which was nice but unforgettable. I really liked how the ingredients really spread across the entire bagel.

If you like bagels this is your place to go. The „Simply cream cheese“ and the „Vegan in Athen“-Bagel are very delicious and filling. They have multiple vegetarian/vegan Options to chose from. (Also a Peanut butter and jelly bagel if you want something sweet)

On my weekend trip to Riga, I had to return back to Big Bad Bagels three times just for the “Vegan in Athens” bagel (with vegan feta cheese, herb dressing, sun-dried tomatoes, grilled bell pepper, and greens).
Read moreEver since I tried it over one year ago, I literally still dream about it! The thought of it is enough to make me consider a return trip to Riga just to eat this bagel again. Highly recommended, a solid 10/10! Would give it 5 stars if I could!
They offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan options for both bagels and drinks. I'm pretty sure they had vegan desserts when I visited, but I can't seem to find them on the menu now... I also tried the “Go Nuts Vegan” drink (with plant based milk, peanut butter, banana, and agave syrup), which was ok but the peanut butter taste was a bit overpowering for my liking, almost like eating plain peanut butter.

We popped here for lunch, and the veggie/vegan menu was surprisingly as big as the non-veggie menu. I had the vegetarian in Barbados (cream cheese, spicy guacamole, spinach, jalapenos, cucumber) and really enjoyed it. Just be warned that they can be very messy to try and eat!

Have had lunch multiple times here and this place doesn’t disappoint! Bagels are great, and the vegan options (4-6 in total, cream cheese is available to be replaced by vegan one so some which aren’t initially vegan can be made vegan) are solid, filling and tasty. Coffee is also okay and plant milks are available!

Ok vegan bagel, great smoothie - Edit
The vegan bagel with spicy guacamole was a bit bland, the bagel with egg and bacon that my boyfriend had was a bit too creasy and also bland he said. The smoothie I had was great and the coffee was good.

Long waitingtime, bagels were okay but only okay. Vegan options were not really interesting, the Vegan in South (Guac, Bellpepper,Tomato,Lettuce) tasted pretty bland, the Bacon for Breakfast option, which my boyfriend ate, was decent but not mind blowing. Both bagels were almost burnt in the bottom and too hard for our liking. The staff seemed stressed and was unfriendly. Smoothies were very good, though.

Visited BBB the last day we had at Riga. The bagels were fresh and tasty, but the treatment from staff really left us a bad taste.
Read moreThe food bagels had clear names with word vegan in them. Menu also had a number system to tell which dishes have which allergenes in them. For dessert I ordered a bagel with chocolate and banana. It had a mention of nuts in the allergenes but nothing of milk or egg so I assumed it is vegan. Then happened to see the staff making it on the counter and they spread Nutella on it, which I happen to know isn't vegan. I asked about it and they said it isn't vegan but also that there is no milk in it. I googled to prove them there is milk powder in Nutella, and then they replied milk powder isn't milk so it doesn't need to be marked on the menu. And that milk powder isn't allergenic so it doesn't have to be mentioned. All this flavoured with multiple times of eye rolling while we were trying to be as polite as we could. The bagel was left uneaten and they refused to give me back my money for it. So yes, they have two vegan options but I wouldn't call the restaurant "vegan-friendly" in the way I understand the word "friendly".
The prices and food itself were good, but not good enough to get treated the way I did. I literally registered here to write this review.
Pros: Good food, Moderate prices, Serving soy milk with coffee
Cons: Small place, Misleading menu, Arrogant staff
