Everyone will love it here - Edit
I have so many good things to say about this place. Our server was kind, knowledgeable and attentive. The food is incredibly amazing. The Ramen was as good as the Ramen we ate in Japan. The "chicken" and "brisket" added the perfect touch.

Every roll is worth having! - Edit
We ordered 5 rolls for two people and each had a cocktail- didn’t have ro for dessert. The crab roll is my favorite but you can’t go wrong with the standard tuna/salmon rolls. I also love the mushroom salad. Beautiful decor as well!

Amazing vegan sushi - Edit
Amazing food and amazing service. I had the Sweet tree roll and the spicy mang roll. So delicious. For dessert I had the Matcha strawberry tart. Fantastic! Wow! So full of flavor. This place never disappoints.

Loved the sushi and dessert - Edit
I ordered a pretty basic “salmon” avocado roll, it was delicious and had “caviar” on top (not sure what it is, but I really loved the texture). The roll was so good I wish I ordered another type too. I also got the grilled chicken bao bun which was very good (apparently it’s spicy but I have a high tolerance) also got the coconut mousse cake which was my favorite!! The mango yuzu in it was delectable!

Superb Vegan - Edit
Service was excellent. We had the sushi sampler, which the four of us shared, each having a taste of 6 different sushi flavors. Then 2 of us had the mushroom salad, while the other 2 had a spicy noodle dish. For desert, we all shared one slice of cheesecake, as we had read in a review it was good. I don't care for cheesecake, as normally it is way to heavy, but this was light and creamy. Overall a superb experience.

Went to an early dinner here before a show. The sushi was really great - had the sweet potato one, spicy mango and mushroom rolls. Also had the chicken bao and the udon noodles. The matcha strawberry tart was fantastic!

I had the maki sampler and a delicious miso soup. The soup was great, the sampler has a lot of rolls that were on the sweet side, I would have preferred them more savory but they were great nonetheless. The Chef owns a bunch of other vegan restaurants with different concepts and I'm exited to try them all. The staff can provide a list for you.

Easiest 5 star of my life - Edit
This might have been one of my favorite meals ever vegan/not. The pork shumai was unreal. An absolute flavor bomb!! I still am having a hard time believing it was vegan. The spicy salmon oshizushi was one of the best things I've ever eaten--literally every element on it was perfection including the rice. Some zing, some spice, some smoke. Absolute perfection. As someone who used to be addicted to salmon sushi of any variety this brought a little tear to my eye. And the ube cheesecake was hands down the best vegan cheesecake I've ever had. The texture was unbelievable. Earned it's spot in New York with that alone. The service was also crazy fast. Everything came out within minutes but tasted freshly prepared. I went last night and plan to go back again before I leave town!!

Crab Rangoons were unreal - Edit
Lovely food and the ‘crab’ Rangoons with cream cheese dip were absolutely amazing! The sushi was nice and fresh but both were supposed to be spicy and weren’t so would have liked some more spice with them. The sticky brussell sprouts were tasty and I can’t say no to a sprout! The matcha strawberry tart was lovely but they put raw matcha powder on the top which wasn’t pleasant to eat. Overall lovely food and atmosphere.

Delicious Vegan Sushi - Edit
I had three rolls: spicy tuna, philadelphia, and sweet tree. All were delicious, but I especially like the sweet tree. Pad Thai was also good (though I would probably have liked if it had tofu instead of the seitan chicken). Ube cheesecake was some of the best vegan cheesecake I’ve ever had.

Delicious vegan sushi. Truly. We ordered a spicy tuna, a charred avocado and the crab rangoons. That was enough for two of us. The crab rangoons blew us away!!! That’s a must if you come. Spicy tuna is a classic.

Didn’t love the lighting / vibe. It’s in herald square which is just a terrible place to begin with, and so I’d say avoid inviting that in as much as possible but they have floor to ceiling windows. Ugh. You’re already eating “cold” food, it would be nice to have a cozy, tucked away experience from the chaos of midtown. They could do better with their interiors. (as a big fan of Guy’s restaurants)

Ordered take out of beyond sushi and honestly it was pretty good. Tried the mango roll, charred avocado roll, rainbow roll, and crab rangoons. I was kind of surprised they only had a limited number of rolls to choose from, was hoping for more. And didn't love that they relayed heavily on "mock meats" in their rolls rather than celebrating plants, but maybe that's what they are going for. As a vegan I wasn't as impressed, but maybe they are trying to capture more omnis. Overall, it was solid, but wasn't too awed by their options for the price.

What a treat for sushi lovers! Enjoyed a delicious rainbow sushi when we visited and dumplings! All the options on the menu sound incredible and have fun variety.
