Comida deliciosa y creativa - Edit

Excepcional!

Lovely experience - Edit
The place is beautiful, with tables on the patio overlooking the ocean.
Read moreThe portions are not too big, so you can either have a starter or a dessert.
We (2 people) shared a starter and two mains and were full.
The guacamole and hummus starter was delicious, the carbonara would have been perfect if not for a touch too much freshly ground black pepper for my taste, and ropa vieja was alright but could use some spices and salt. The presentation was beautiful.
Overall we enjoyed the experience and the food. Well worth a visit 😋

Edible Art - Great Location - Edit
Most of the menu at Berro Bistrot is vegan-friendly - only dishes with cheese are not, although some can be veganised. I’d always recommend asking, just to be sure.
Read moreWe were so impressed with the quality and presentation of the food here, that we booked to come back for lunch. The chef definitely subscribes to the idea that food should be both a feast for the eyes AND the stomach.
On our first visit, we started with Granadillo (Canary black potatoes with smokey mojo and watercress aioli) and the beautiful Sabina (beet rose with watercress pesto on a bed of almond cream). For mains, we had Mován (a carbonara) and Malpaís (a Thai rice dish with sautéed vegetables, roast pumpkin and curry sauce).
Second visit, we started with Cardón (guacamole with tortilla chips and hummus with bread) which was fab, and then had Bicácaro (mushroom ceviche) and the Malpaís again. All amazing!
Berro Bistrot has an extensive wine and beer list, which has obviously been carefully curated, but it was a struggle to find vegan-friendly wine and beer. They had at least one vegan wine; but I hope they’ll give this some further consideration and also label vegan options on the menu.
Based on the seafront, the location is great - make sure you book, as it’s very popular and we saw many people turned away. Highly recommend this place!
Pros: Loads of vegan food options!, Great location!, Quality and presentation of food is stunning!
Cons: Not fully vegan., Not many vegan wine options and no vegan beer.
