Ice Cream
Dairy ice cream company founded 1978 with the opening of its small shop in Vermont, US. Since has expanded into an international franchising enterprise and operates manufacturing facilities making its line of products for sale at grocery stores everywhere. In 2017 its retails shops began offering a couple of vegan ice cream and sorbet options as well as almond milk for milkshakes. Vegan flavors may vary so ask. Ask for vegan cones. Also look in the fridge for pints to take home. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.

B&J’s in VT - it’s an experience! - Edit
The line in the summer is all the way to Shelburne!😉Seriously though, give yourself a good 20 minutes to stand in line on a beautiful summer night. Sometimes it looks like a stop on a hop on hop off tour bus. Except for a rare occasion, they normally have 1 or 2 vegan flavors. My favorite is whatever flavor looks best as a vegan milkshake (with oat milk)! Walk it down to the waterfront… if it lasts that long

The best vegan ice cream, ever! - Edit
The fact that vegan ice cream that tastes this good exists, it blows my mind! The Change the Whirled flavour was incredible (I love the sunflower butter base), and literally every non-dairy Ben & Jerry’s flavour I’ve tried in general. Wishing it was easier to get such a great array of non-dairy flavours up in Canada, as the pints for sale in the shop sounded delicious, and I wish I could’ve taken some home. Just a quick note that the dairy-free cones are the sugar cones only!

Vegan Ice Cream! - Edit
Great to have vegan ice cream, by the scoop or the pint. Staff is friendly, but not as knowledgeable when it came to which of their toppings/cones were vegan. We were told that the sugar cone was vegan, but later a different staff member confirmed that it wasn't. Still so great flavors of Ben and Jerry's classics, just wish they would use oatmilk to make their ice creams.

Great option in Burlington - Edit
It was nice to get a cup of their new Change The Whirled flavor. I really liked it! I do wish they had more options though, it's usually the same three or so at their scoop shops. Overall still really happy!

Great place for vegans! - Edit
How often as a vegan do you get to walk into an ice cream shop and get a scoop of vegan ice cream that isn’t just a fruit sorbet or a crummy soy vanilla?
Read moreBen & Jerry’s for me was a real treat, just in the sense that there was actually a great little selection of vegan options. My only quip is that there weren’t at least a few more to choose from, because they are making quite few non-dairy flavors in the pints they sell at the store, so it would be nice if they threw a few more on their menu for variety.
Pros: Delicious flavors

GREAT - Edit
We had the sunflower based creme brulee and it was soooo good. Bought a pint of it though. They had 3-4 vegan flavor options when we went, like 2-3 scoopable.

Cons: Not sure if cones are vegan, Not a very large variety
