African fusion in a cozy setting - Edit
For being in the middle of Westlands, Beit é Selam is surprisingly intimate and embracing. From Western Africa peanut and spice, to Northern Africa mezze, to Eastern Africa ugali, Beit é Selam, mixes, interprets and reinvents, often to very delicious results. Vegan options are celarly marked and there is at least one for every moment of the meal. Corn ribs (make it vegan!) and olives make for great sharing options for starters. Soups are quite filling and delicious. The sweet plantain with tamarind and peanut sauce is the clear winner for me.

Surprising haven with great vegan and veg food - Edit
A gorgeous eclectic bar and restaurant in a green courtyard in bustling Westlands. Lots of veg options (all of the veg options are vegan or can be made vegan) plus yummy cocktails, great service. We were there for lunch and were very happy!

Super disappointing - Edit
Limited vegan selection and very greasy. 2 apps, 1 salad, 1 main. The main is an oyster mushroom burger. A number of deep fried pieces of mushroom with aioli. Very nice shoe string mushrooms.

Cons: Greasy, Limited vegan selections , Not delicious
