worth the wait - Edit
i came here before taking my train back home and there was a line, so i was a bit nervous i would have to leave early or not make it in time. it went pretty quickly and my food came out almost immediately after i sat down.
Read morethe restaurant is clean, busy but not too noisy, and you can see them preparing the food right in front of you. vegan options are clearly marked and you order on a kiosk before entering the restaurant.
i was hoping i could ask them for a half order of the fried eggplant because it sounded so good but i knew i couldn’t finish a whole order. to my surprise and delight there was a small order available on the kiosk.
i also got the tantanmen. it was soooo good but i just wish there were an option to take off the cilantro. i’m sure i could have asked but it seemed like kind of a nuisance the way things were set up. i just picked it off.
the noodles were spicy so if that’s not your thing don’t order it, but it was so yummy and not too greasy or heavy. the sauce on the eggplant was perfect and the pickled cabbage on the table was a great addition to everything. would definitely come back.
Pros: pleasant and kind service

So goooooood - Edit
Very f*cking good food. Mapo tofu ftw! The fried eggplant very yummy also. Generous with sauce and peanuts on top of the eggplant, which is nice.
Read moreCame back the next night for the vegan noodles, which were also very, very satisfying. Creamy thick sauce and juicy noodles with a lot of peanuts and mushrooms, goodgood!
Also very cool to watch the (young) crew handle the restaurant and kitchen like rock stars. Awesome

Good vegan ramyeon/noodles 👌 - Edit
They have 2/3 vegan options in this restaurant. I tried the dan dan noodles (you need to specify that you want the vegan version) which is spicy but delicious!! It’s creamy, well seasoned and comes with mushrooms, onions, peanuts, red hot pepper and coriander.
Read moreI could ask for a less spicy version but it was still very spicy, so only people who can handle spicy food are able to eat this meal 😅
The meal contains gluten and peanuts, important to know for those who are allergic.
Also, I recommend avoiding weekends because there’s a long queue waiting to eat there. If you’re alone it can be okay but there’s a lot of people waiting and it feels like it’s not the place where you can take your time.
You may be able to book a table for a certain time.

Only one vegan main dish, super spicy but super delicious! Cream and flavourful ramen broth 🥰

Authentic taste and fun vibe. - Edit
My tan tan noodles tasted just as good as the ones I had in Taiwan. Lots of crunchy and chewy goodness in the dish. There are just a few vegan items but they are clearly labeled and I hope the fried eggplant and mapo tofu will be just as delicious as the tan tan noodles. The mango beer is also excellent! The place was packed so you might have to wait. Definitely worth a visit!
