Delicious and cheap vegan Banh Mi

Small amazing restaurant where you can try authentic Vietnamese food like Banh Mi - with the huge plus that everything is vegan. We tried nearly everything on the menu and weren’t disappointed. Everything is amazing and the prices are a bargain. The whole family lives vegan since 7 years and we talked for a while with their 9 year old daughter. They really embrace the vegan lifestyle which is amazing.

Pros: Authentic Vietnamese food, Everything is vegan , Soooo delicious

All vegan and super friendly family!!

Cozy little restaurant in a small & narrow street. You can get 2 different kind of banh mi there as well as some small starters, like samosa or spring rolls. We had to try all of it and everything was amazing! It is very cheap and the family is super friendly!

Pros: All vegan

Best banh mi in Vietnam!

This is a really friendly, welcoming family run eatery with fake meat options and noodles. I would 100% recommend, I went back twice in one day it was so good. The food is brilliant and environment feels very homely. Also V cheap!!

Pros: Cosy, homely, tasty, friendly staff.

Cons: None.

Cheap and humble eats

Had 2 different bahn mi, the pillow donuts (samosa type things) and spring rolls. All were delicious. The menu is small and cheap, Bahn mi was around 20-23k and the others 5-10k when we had them. Nice people too.

Pros: Best vegan Bahn mi with seitan, Cheap

Delicious, cheap, genuine

It can be hard to find vegan food that is genuine street food, so much of it is overpriced yoga loving health food for too cool for school westerners. This place is the real deal down a back alley and it's delicious. Can be ordered on the Now app for delivery too.

Best Banh Mi ever!

We came across this family run Vegan Banh Mi restaurant and we weren't let down!
They have the most amazing banh mi with a tofu, fresh salad and vegan mayo filling.
I wanted to avoid eating at the regular carts do to contamination and Im glad I found this wonder.
Probably the only vegan ones in Hanoi. The owner is super sweet and also gave me one bread for takeaway!
Prices are super reasonable we ate 4 banh mi’s for 86,000 dongs in total!

One of the best 100% vegan Banh Mi in Hanoi

Must try the 'Meatless Banh Mi' with pumpkin sauce.

Yummy banh mi

Enjoyed the banh mi here very much - not the best I’ve had but definitely worth it. Also enjoyed the pillow - kind of a cross between and spring roll and a fried dumpling.

Very Enjoyable

Lovely little homestead, very local type. Tiny area but super Vegan banh mi. Could eat here often if had the chance. Please come & support this micro restaurant 💚🌏🌱

Pros: Mini vegan menu (too much option spoils choosing)

Cons: None, considering......... :)

Small place, BIG FLAVOURS!!

Hubby and I came across town especially to try the banh mi here because I love banh mis and I have yet to eat a vegan one... Until now! So delicious and fresh - everything made to order and the baguette was so crisp and crunchy and yummy, together with the flavoursome ingredients just made it perfect. We also had the spring rolls (last one on the menu) and they were my favourite spring rolls ever! Also ate the donuts, which were like savoury Asian samosa type things - very good! We are all glad we came here, and will most likely be back again tomorrow before our train.

Pros: The place is so cute and I love the decorations!, The food!

Cons: None!

Excellent, wholesome and honest food

A bit tucked away off the main road and with limited seating but we cannot fault the Banh Mi and the polite service we received. We ordered 4 Banh's and they were so good we ordered more to eat there.

Limited menu - we had Banh Mi and spring rolls but it was enough. There didn't seem to be any drinks available and they advised they have stopped doing desserts.

Pros: Tasty Banh Mi and Spring rolls, Cheap

Cons: Limited menu

Great Value

Came for breakfast this morning & just loved this place. Cheap & tasty food & a CV good vibe from the proprietors. Small menu but all good. Pity it’s our last day in Hanoi otherwise we’d be back!

Simple and Delicious

I found Vegan Banh Mi reading an article in Culture Trip. It was totally worth the short walk. A ground of locals was sitting on the street eating street food but recognized me immediately as someone looking for the Began Banh Mi and kindly directed me down a well lit alley to the little shop. Family run their little girl welcomed me in English and won me over immediately. The small menu is perfect making it easy to try a few things. With a Banh mi COSing only 23,000 VD it is smart to try a couple things. Your mouth and belly will thank you. So tasty. Don’t wait until late night to go, they close up at 19:00.

Good and cheap

There is 5 options. ‘Donut’ is 10k. Roll 5k. Bread 20k. No more desserts which I was sad about. Sauce was bit tastless. Is still recommend this place!

So inspiring!

Very small place, entirely vegan, run by amazing people. Not a lot of option in the menu, the food is pretty standard but was amazing to find a place like this in the chaotic Hanoi.
To try!

Pros: Inspiring environment , Local vegan food, Cheap

Cute hidden gem - so good

It's hidden down a side street and you feel like you're walking into someone's house (you most probably are!). It's super cheap and tasty, and given it looks to mostly appeal to travellers, has a local vibe. The folks that run it are friendly and welcoming (plus wear great t shirts).

Probably the best vegan banh mi I've had in Hanoi so far😄

Totally recommend!

Pros: Friendly staff, Good value

Tasty sandwich

Not sure if this is the same place. Same name, same location but not a food cart, instead a small back room with tiny tables and chairs.
Very limited selection. I had the seitan bánh mì which was nice but not very filling.

Pros: Cheap, Tasty

Cons: Not a lot to choose from , Cramped
