Great banh mi! - Edit
A small restaurant down an alley with delicious banh mi and more! They also ask you to bring refillable water bottles and don’t use plastic bottles there for environmental reasons.

lovely - Edit
Loved everything about this place. In a tiny alley, out of someone’s family home (I believe!), and the service is so warm and friendly. The food was fast and delicious. Perfect. I hope we get to swing by again before we leave Hanoi!

Good local vegan food - Edit
We shared the mixed Bahn mi and mixed noodles. Both were very yum. The bahn mi had a good amount of filling. The noodles were nice and fresh, but I've given a 4 out of 5 because I feel the skimped on the toppings (didn't add very much of each thing). I would recommend to try it out though.

Tiny restaurant, good food - Edit
Very tiny family-run restaurant. Recommended if you want to visit an authentic, not touristy restaurant, but still want to eat vegan. Very friendly staff and extremely affordable! Banh mi was good, could be more flavorful.

Great banh mi - Edit
We tried two different banh mi, but recommend the standard ‘mixed protein’ one, as this was the best. It had some v good homemade vegan mayo in it. A casual place with some seating inside and outside in the alley. The guy working there was super friendly and the place had a lovely story/ethos for how it became vegan.

Tasty food - Edit
A very small family run restaurant that offers a fully vegan menu.
Read moreThe Pho was tasty but the environment let it down slightly. The restaurant is essentially the family’s front room. It is probably a very authentic Vietnamese eating experience though.

Delicious spring rolls - Edit
The place is a bit of a hole in the wall and gets quite busy but it's so cute and the story of the family business is so sweet. I would rate the spring rolls a 5/5 and the bahn mi a 4/5. Although I liked the bahn mi I thought it was missing maybe some herbs or like a housing or pickled component (but maybe that's just what I'm used to in Aus!). Would definitely recommend if you are in the area, we tried the soy protein and the mixed bahn mi.

Very cheap, great banh mi - Edit
We had two tofu ball bahn mis and the crispy pillow dumplings. Both were delicious and only cost 100VND in total. Felt very authentic sitting on the street too. Would really recommend. There's no drinks on the menu but there's a street vendor within the outdoor seating who you can get drinks from

Would like to love the food as much as their story! - Edit
Loved the place and their story. I ordered spring rolls and a falafel bahn mi, but it just wasn't as good as expected after reading all the reviews. Would still recommend and will probably go back to try some other meals.

So glad we went - Edit
The Bahn Mi with tofu balls and peanut sauce was superior to any of the other Bahn Mi's we had here in Hanoi! The mixed Bahn Mi was a bit bland unfortunately. The fried dumpling was amazing though so overall this place is very much worth the visit.
