Good Banh Mi - Edit
Had both the Banh Mi sandwiches. The lentil one was better. They are cheap, too, but not very filling. Also tried the pillow dessert, which was good if you’re looking for a deep fried sweet.

Best -all vegan- surprise in Hanoi - Edit
We already accepted that eating vegan in Hanoi as ignorant tourists was gonna be a struggle, but then we stumbled unexpectingly onto this place's doorsteps. Fantastic, authentic Hanoi street-food, minus the animals. The best!

Great food - on Grab! - Edit
Great food order, and so cheap too. Followed instructions from a previous review about how to order on Grab - had one banh mi, two samosa-style pasties (which are about the size of your palm, so pretty big!) and two spring rolls. All very delicious, and came wrapped in brown paper and in a bag made of old printed university marketing material. Would have loved to see some of the sweet options on the menu too, but guess I'll have to go in person for those! Not a whole lot of flavour in the food, but still great, affordable, and so convenient. Love the environment-friendly approach too.

Delicious vegan street food - Edit
Tucked away down a little alleyway, this tiny eatery was well worth seeking out. The banh mi, spring rolls and pillow dumpling (sort of like Vietnamese samosa) were very fresh, cheap and so tasty! They have a small inside area with 3 or so tables where you can eat your meal. The banh mi are quite light so if you’re really hungry, it’s worth getting 2 each plus a few sides. Definitely recommend this place, we’ll be back :)
Read moreEdit: We just had a Grab delivery from here for dinner, and they get bonus infinity stars for their genius packaging. The bag for the banh mi was made from recycled school books and the sandwiches wrapped in brown paper, so no plastic anywhere 👏🏼 They can be found on Grab as “Banh Mi Chay - Tran Hung Dao”. Thank you again to this place for the delicious food and for being so conscientious.

It's tasty, crunchy, fresh and not expensive. It's a simple but packed and effective banh mi. Apparently has vegan Mayo as well.

Super tasty - Edit
They have a small menu, but it is done excellently! So much so I went back for seconds. I tried both banh mi, I preferred the meatless one over the seitan one but both were incredible. The donut pouch was delicious too! So cheap too, so definitely get one if you’re in the area.

Tasty Banh Mi Chay (vegan) in Ha Noi from a nice family - Edit
Stopped by with my bf for some banh mi. We had the two different kinds on the menu (can't remember the names) and they were both so tasty! We loved the spot too, nice and cozy down a little alley. The family was right next to the seating area making the fresh food. They don't have too many options but at least the few choices are done well.

Don't miss this place when you're in Ha Noi! Oh and btw, great value for the quality and real Ha Noi grub experience :)

Good Banh Mi - Edit
Probably the best banh mi I’ve had in Hanoi. Though, I’ve found hanoi’s banh mi’s to not be that great, so for me that wasn’t a difficult thing!

An absolute MUST in Hanoi - Edit
An absolute MUST if you’re staying in Hanoi. I’ve never had such an amazing visit to a restaurant, this was by far the best experience in Vietnam. The food was cheap and absolutely delicious and the little daughter of the owners speaks English fluently. It’s inspiring to meet a young person with such a broad view on the world. Her knowledge in veganism and the environment is amazing. Her mother was very warm and we were sad to leave. This definitely wasn’t the last time we visited that place.

Loved this authentic, tiny restaurant! The menu was small but all vegan and delicious! We tried both of the bahn mi options and the pillow donut. The ingredients are fresh and prepared right in front of you. It’s family owned and they are super friendly😄Definitely going to be frequenting this place. Highly recommend!

Vegan Gem - Edit
They are friendly, it was raining and gave me a towel to dry my face. Unfortunately they had run out of spring rolls, noodles, no pumpkin sauce, which says great things about the local. I recommend the original over the meatless. The "donut" is also tasty. I will definitely go again when I am back in Hanoi.

Absolutely delicious - Edit
We ate here for our first meal in Vietnam and was not disappointed! They had sold out of the meatless Banh mi so we had the original one with mayo and we thought it was delicious. The bread was warm and crispy on the outside and soft inside. We also had the donuts which are savoury and great, as well as the spring rolls which were equally as delicious and fried fresh for order.

Fabulous! - Edit
It was pouring rain but I wanted to get out and eat some real food. Thanks to the previous reviews, I found it pretty easily. Look for signs saying Banh Mi Chay on the street, then go down a narrow passageway. Some of the photos show stools on the sidewalk, but I was happy to see it is indoors and dry. I had the Original Banh Mi, fried spring roll and pillow donut. All very good. I’ll probably be back before I leave town.

Tastiest sandwich I've ever had - Edit
We went there twice during our stay in Hanoi just because how good it is. The Banh Mis are heavenly. Crispy, but soft bread filled with delicious vegetables, tofu and vegan mayo or punmpkin sauce. As with every other Vegan place It's in an alley, but It's easy to find. The owners are really kind and they have a daughter who speaks very good English. A must if you're staying in Hanoi!

Cozy homey vegan place - Edit
This is my first vegan meal in Hanoi. The meals are inexpensive yet tastily authentic of Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered all items off the menu for less than 100K VND. The daughter of the owner speaks very good English and is very woke for a kid her age 😁. Highly recommended for vegan travellers in Hanoi.
