Great place. Nice atmosphere. Fair price. Shall we say perfect? - Edit
Banlle can be the best place in Siem Reap. As soon as you cross the gate, you can see the garden where most of vegetables you are about to eat grow. The restaurant is very spacious. All the meals look delicious. I had the chance to taste many of them. I would definitely recommend the Kor Ko. With it, a Mango-passion shake is perfect. I love Cambodian food.
Read moreImportant points: they minimise their plastic and single-use plastic. No plastic straw. Reusable tissues. Banana leaf. Awesome !

Good food, nice setting - Edit
Nice looking simple menu, mixed western and Khmer dishes. Ordered aubergine tempura and kor ko. Both very good. The first time we've come across Kor Ko - similar to amok, but more soupy - loads of veg, well cooked. Good portions too.

Mixed feelings - Edit
The reastaurant is very cosy, settled in beautiful veg and ornamental garden. You can eat under the trees or inside with aircon (which was great during a superhot noon time today). Staff is very nice and the whole feeling is like you eat in some fancy restaurant but with really affordable prices.
Read moreBut the food...maybe we just didn´t choose right. My boyfriend had a BBQ mushroom sandwich which comes with fries. It was good except strange combination of diced mango and passionfruit on the top. My vegan fish´n´chips was a banana flower in panko crumbs - amazing idea, the flower texture is really close to fish, it´s tender and flaky, but - almost tasteless :-(..They don´t add anything to make a fishy flavour, so it´s just boiled fried banana blossom with some pepper. And fries are not homemade (as in cheaper eatery next door). I would give a chance to Banlle once more with traditional dishes, hope they make them better then Western fare...
Pros: Very cosy place, like a green oasis, Interesting menu, Nice staff
Cons: Food (what I tried) wasn´t that good

Super fancy style, best vegan food I’ve had in Cambodia. Nice staff and good atmosphere.

Great place - Edit
I had dinner here twice and enjoyed it both times. I'd definitely recommend the crispy tofu to start. These were fried to perfection, but I did find the ketchup somewhat out of place as a dipping sauce. I think some kind of duck sauce would've been much nicer. As for mains, the kor ko was delicious. This was the only restaurant that I went to that had this dish on the menu. The sour soup I had the second night was also good but different in that it was a clear soup with a bunch of local ingredients that had a very clean and herby taste. For dessert, I had the fried banana with mango sorbet the first night. It was alright, nowhere near as good as the fried bananas you can get from street vendors for next to nothing. Oh, rice refills are free; just ask.
Read moreI thought the staff was very friendly and the setting soothing. The décor was modern and sort of industrial. But at times when it was quiet, it did feel a little dead. Some music wouldn't hurt.
Now, comparing this place with Chamkar, I'd say in terms of selection they have an edge by having a bigger menu and more variety. Atmosphere- and service-wise this place wins hands down. So, go there for lunch (which is what I did for two days in a row and there was ever only one other table both times) and have dinner here.
Pros: great food, friendly staff, setting

Amazing food and friendly service - Edit
Ate here once during our trip to Siem Reap - a vegan and vegetarian menu all at a great price. Staff are so friendly and lovely. The chef said he is working towards a completely vegan menu - woohoo! Can’t wait to come back when we return to Siem Reap.

Don’t get the Pad Thai! - Edit
This was the most horrible Pad Thai I’ve ever had. It was very spicy and in general just horrible. One of the staff members was very rude about it but the chef/manager was very friendly. He offered to make me a new one but I didn’t want to waste the food they already made for me.

Cosy place - Edit
Very friendly, lovely place! We liked our main dishes (mushroom soup and veggies kor ko) and especially enjoyed crispy tofu, however didn't like so much fried sweet potato (too dry for us) but finished our lunch with yummy brownie. Menu is a bit less interesting (there are some non-vegan but vegetarian options) than in more modern 100% vegan places of the town… prices here are better though!

Food was great, atmosphere lovely and the staff very friendly. Ordered too much - serves are generous! What I particularly loved was no sign of single use plastic- metal straws, water served from recycled wine bottles. I’ll be back!

Lovely little (mostly) vegan place - Edit
We ate here twice during our stay in Siem Reap. We ordered a ton of food on the first visit thinking it must be like tapas because the prices are so low. Nope - the portions are large. the food was delicious enough that we managed to eat pretty much everything we ordered. They actually remembered us when we returned a few days later (possibly because we were the people who ordered and ate an obscene amount of food on our previous visit...), which was a nice surprise. We ordered a moremreasonable amount of food and again ate everything. The setting is really nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Love the salad options here. Lovely staff as well.

This place is amazing! It really was one of the best dinning experiences I’ve ever had. The food is so tasty, comforting, and affordable. The space is clean with modern style. They don’t use plastics to! Even for To-go they wrap your food in a banana leaf. I’m in love and I’m sure you will to.

If it wouldn't sound too "cheesy"; this place can best be described in superlatives. The setting, the ambience, the staff, the food and the value are just great.
