Cute place & nice food - Edit
The place is absolutely cute. Wooden house in a lush garden. Quite some menu items. The 5% service charge is annoying though - I haven’t seen any other restaurant doing so.

Many tasty vegan dishes - Edit
Around half of the dishes on the menu are vegan, the rest is vegetarian. The food I've had there was delicious, well seasoned and served in a nice atmosphere. Can definitely recommend!

Excellent food and prices - Edit
We tried 3 different dishes, juices and coffee.
Read moreEverything was excellent and they even use soya milk with no cows milk in it 🥰
When I paid I couldn't believe how cheap it was and though they made a mistake. Generous dishes for $1.50 😳
They also have their own garden and no plastic in the restaurant.
Will be back for sure 😁🙏
Pros: Own garden and no plastic , Price , Very classy and calming ambiance
Cons: Still has some animal products on the menu

Nothing available on menu - Edit
We had been looking forward to the reopening of this place, so went down on (re)opening night.
Read moreWe were amazed at how well they had tidied the place up: it looked derelict 24 hours earlier, but had a great look when we got there.
Was quite busy, early in the evening on opening night: probably ten couples eating, or about 25 tables available
When we ordered though, most of the things we ordered weren’t available. Which staff laughed about.
When we asked what was available we were told the one thing that we had found that the kitchen hadn’t sent the waitress back to us about. I’m sure that wasn’t true but, at that point we’d been disappointed with her coming back enough times it was best we left.
Pros: Lots of options (in theory), Cool place, opposite some great bars for drinkers
Cons: Strange attitude, Many items on menu not being offered

Beautiful restaurant - Edit
Banlle is a very beautiful restaurant. The outdoor seating area is perfect and so airy and leafy. The interior is special, too - traditional, yet modern and fresh. It’s a welcoming and professional place aiming to support vegetarianism.
Read moreI liked my stay on the terrace a lot, it was a wonderful break and a great place to enjoy the calm atmosphere. The food was not as good as expected, though, it was a little dry. Otherwise I would have given five stars!

High prices and grumpy service - Edit
Prices are very high for siem reap. The service was poor. We had to call the waitresses several times to catch their attention and they all looked bored and forced to smile when coming to our table. Peanut butter and coconut cake was small and tasteless. The auburgine starter was nothing special.. The portions weren't that big.. For those prices I would have expected something completely different

Tasty - Edit
We went here two times and it was delicious.
Read moreThe atmosphere is perfect for having dinner after a long day and just sit in the beautiful garden.
We had a yummy “Salmon”-Bagel for 4,5$ (twice, because it was so good), the mushroom-Sandwich (4$) and one of the best vegan Lok Laks I ever had in Cambodia (4,5$). Also the juices and lemonades are very good (between 2 and 2,5$)
We really like this place 😊

We enjoyed our meal, even though it wasn't the best we had in Siem Reap. The place is lovely, but service was a little slow. We recommend the 'fish' and chips.

High quality food and super delicious! - Edit
A nice mix of western and Cambodian food on the menu, my favorite is the vegan fish and chips! They grow a lot of their veggies in the vegetable garden around the restaurant, the staff is so helpful and friendly and the premises are exceptionally clean! Bathrooms are awesome.

chefs cuisine goes vegan - Edit
We had delicious, perfect starters with super fresh herbs, salat and vegetables. The mains were great, yummy very tasty vegan adaptions to well known meat dishes. The desserts were not that perfect like in vibes café, but I enjoyed them very much.
Read moreThe staff was super attentive and friendly, the wine spritzer cool and rich. The place “Bauhaus” alike with wide window sides, maybe it gives a sterile feeling, but with all the green and the kitchen/ herb garden, for me it was so stylish, refreshing and calm for the optimum conditions of an exquisite lunch after a morning walking along the archeological sides.
Pros: Chefs Cuisine, Planed based , Price performance ratio 👍🏽
Cons: None

Delicious food for a good price - Edit
I was surpised by how cheap this place was based on the ambiance. It is clean, modern, and beautiful and i only payed 6 dollars for a curry and a cappaccino today (that may be expensive compared to local places but it is cheap compared to Vibe and other vegan places). I enjoyed the khmer curry and i watched them pick an eggplant out of the garden outside and pretty sure it was in my dish.
