Good for a quick snack - Edit
We found the little stall outside and the owner asked us if we wanted to takeaway or sit inside with air con. Dripping in sweat like the obvious tourists we are, we chose the later!
Read moreWe went for the tofu Banh mi with added avocado and the oyster mushroom in garlic. The tofu one was okay, but not much filling. The mushroom one was really yummy. Neither had all that much filling and were quite small.
We also had a couple of beers and the coconut milk coffee, which was very nice!
Pros: Cheap, Coconut milk coffee, Oyster mushroom Banh mi
Cons: Not much filling , Quite small portion

Great value - Edit
Got the tofu and oyster mushroom banh mi. I thought both were delicious, but I would definitely advise getting a second if you’ve been walking around and talking in all the sights!

Delicious and cheap - Edit
Tried the mushroom and tofu banh mi, both were delicious. There's a second location on the second floor at the next street corner which offers seating on a balcony and was less busy than the other one.

Pretty good not amazing - Edit
Perfect if you want something cheap and simple but definitely not a spectacular Banh Mi. We tried all three of their veg flavours; spicy mushroom, garlic mushroom, and tofu. The mushroom was very chewy on both but the tofu was pretty good. The bread was fresh and tasty but the filling needed more coriander and more spice. This is definitely a tourist hot spot, there are better Bahn mi from local cafes nearby.
Read morePros: Clear menu, three veg options , The fresh juices are great , Cheap; Bahn Mi are 25k, fresh juice is 35k

Pretty good - Edit
Banh mi was nice and crispy. The tofu was cooked well. I think with some sauce it would have been amazing, but was a lil on the dry side.

Really good banh mi - Edit
Annoying that the app doesn’t allow for 5 star reviews if they sell meat, as I’d give this a 5 star review.

Tasty banh mi - Edit
It's nice they have vegetarian/vegan options and food is tasty but later I bought similar vegetarian banh mi for half of the price few meters away. English speaking staff.

Excellent Vegetarian and Vegan Options - Edit
We wanted to try the famous Banh Mi during our stay, but the traditional versions all seemed to have meat, so we were delighted to find this cafe. It has two different cafes on the same road, as well as a stand for a takeaway option. There were a few vegetarian options, but we both decided to try the vegan option of tofu with avocado and were not disappointed, it was absolutely delicious.

good but not the best! - Edit
This place always seems to be packed and as others have said, it is always with tourists and not locals.

Great tofu banh mi! - Edit
The tofu banh mi has definitely grown on me. I stayed in Hanoi for almost two weeks and ended up getting it ALMOST every day.
Read moreBanh mi 25 is definitely NOT a local spot. Almost every single time I went the place was full with tourists - not a single local insight.
That being said, they've got a nice selection of veggie banh mi's and the tofu banh mi has it all for me. Veggie banh mi's are around 25k which is OK for a banh mi.
The tofu banh mi is different than a traditional banh mi. If you are looking for a traditional one, don't go to banh mi 25. If you are open to trying something a little different, then give it a try.
I would give it 5 stars, but unfortunately, happy cow would let me because it's not a veggie spot.
Pros: Tofu banh mi, fresh ingredients, lovely staff
Cons: very touristy, excess packaging
