We found it not very special, like home style cooking. The price is very affordable (18 euros for this platter for two persons)
I did enjoy the atmosphere, it's nice.
In basic, the dishes are vegan, the meat eaters can add the add ons.
I was really hoping to impress the meat eating person with their kitchen but I was disappointed 😥.

Mostly vegan and good music - Edit
We didn't have the opportunity to order more than coffee, tea and some bread with aioli, but I was very satisfied with the menu. Most dishes are vegan and the non-vegan ones are marked with NV. Very refreshing to see it the other way around!

Great service and atmosphere - Edit
The restaurant is very nicely decorated with plants and garden scenery. It felt atmospheric, even though it was almost empty. The terrace seating was also very nice. The server was very fast and friendly. The food was pretty tasty (I had an pulled oyster mushroom bun and my friends had the mexican sharing platter), but the incredibly fast service with lukewarm food made me think it wasn't made to order. They have a delicious drink selection (especially the iced coffee) and the brownie also tasted great.

Really quaint and cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere. The menu is also impressive with an all vegan food and wine (!!) menu. We ordered a lentil soup with bread which was excellent all around. We also ordered a garden Sallad with grilled vegetables. The presentation of this Sallad was beautiful and the flavors were nice. However everything had been cooked earlier and stored in a fridge, which made the grilled vegetables cold, soggy and primarily, tasteless. I informed the staff that the Sallad was "fridge cold" and didn't live up to the expectations considering the price and atmosphere of this restaurant in general. After informing the waitress I had to wait 20 minutes for them to fix my dish while the rest of the party finished their food. When it arrived the vegetables had been lightly heated and made the Sallad lukewarm, but unfortunately still rather dull. We also ordered the 'vegan nuggets' which were more like smaller bean patties, heated in the oven which made them incredibly dry, and unfortunately bland. I would personally not call it 'nuggets' if they aren't deep fried, but perhaps that's just me.

Edit: after I wrote this review I had the opportunity to talk to the owners of the establishment and they made me rethink my review. They're super passionate about giving good service, great food and promoting local wares. All of which is admirable! We we're informed that the staff of the day were new which is why the service and delays were worse than they should be (not really strange considering the place is only 2 months old!). They also assured us that they would look over the dishes we had complaints about.
I'm leaving the original review because I think it's important to see that the establishment takes criticism and feedback seriously, which they clearly do. I have changed my rating to 4 stars because I believe in the coming months this place will become a vegan waterhole in Rotterdam since the owners are so committed!

The menu is basically vegan, with some non-vegan additions clearly marked. Tried the Indian platter and the vegan burger, both were very good! Casual staff, great local beers, outdoor seating.. Great addition to the local vegan scene!
