The modest entranceway to this restaurant somewhat belies the charm that it exudes on the inside. It is a bright, comfortable space with picture windows and lovely outside dining area that both make the most of the stunning skyline of the marina that lies just beyond.
Read moreHaving selected a prime location to drink in said views, I got down to the business at hand. At first glance, it appeared as though it may be somewhat of a struggle to satiate myself as the serving area for the spread was quite compact. However, upon closer inspection, I found that while it was the case that there wasn’t an overwhelming glut of options, there were more than enough to placate even me, and my appetite. Of said dishes, the two standouts were the fragrant, perfectly piquant vegetable curry, and the alarmingly moreish hash browns. (It does feel a bit of a cop out to highlight the latter, but when they’re good, they’re good!) Everything else that I had was perfectly serviceable, if not spectacular, and adequately provided the satisfaction I craved.
Though this was enjoyable overall experience, I’d be hard-pressed to say that I would hurry back, as I know that there are superior alternatives to be had.
