We enjoyed our dinner at Atelier Flori from beginning to end. We and our dog were greeted very friendly and got a table in a cozy corner. We chose the starter menu, which consisted of an amuse (edamame), starter (portobello mushroom on salad) and the famous sharing dish which offered a great selection of different small foods. As mentioned before the nacho dip is a highlight, but also the arrancini and lasagna stood out! Would definitely recommed going here 😊

We took 2 non-vegan friends who absolutely loved the food. You get a tower from a set menu (changes every 4-5 weeks). A large variety of foods and flavors. I have a nut allergy and the owner pointed out the 1 item with nuts (my spouse ate that). The staff is friendly and helpful. The experience - unforgettable! If we lived in Bruges, we would make it a regular dining choice.

You should make reservations. We did not but had no trouble being seated although I would make a reservation to be sure of seating. The website is in Dutch, which I don't read (my shortcoming, not theirs) , so the hotel called for me to get menu information. All staff speak English so we had no problems once we were there.

Zeer fijne plaats. Gezellig, vriendelijke mensen. Wij gingen er eten met omni familie, en ook zij waren zeer enthousiast over het vegan eten! Onze (kleine) hond was ook meer dan welkom.

Best vegan restaurant in Brugge - Edit
Beste vegan zaak van Brugge en omstreken. Must visit voor iedereen die culinair (vegan) wil gaan eten. Eigenaars zijn super vriendelijke mensen die zorgen dat je niks te kort komt. Alle gerechten die we kregen waren even lekker en smaakvol. Zeker ook voorgerecht en dessert nemen om optimaal te genieten. Atelier Flori een van mijn favoriete. Ik kom zeker terug.

Totally vegan restaurant... we did think we were in the wrong place as photos we had seen didn't match the location. However the food was amazing. Had the sharing platter and each dish/portion was exquisite. Everything was explained and we delved in... so, sorry, no pictures to show. The platter is deceiving and we were pleasantly full at the end and unfortunately had no room for a dessert. One of the best vegan restaurants I have been to. You will need to book to guarantee a table. So glad we did as it was fully booked on a Thursday night

BEST RESTAURANT IN BRUGES - Edit
When visiting Bruges, do not miss out on this amazing restaurant. You are going to be spoiled with the most delicious food, it’s such a party having so many different tiny dishes all in one meal (the etagere). Like you get to enjoy a little bit of this, little bit of that. The best nacho sauce in the history of veganism. Had to get over the fact that I forgot to order the 500 ml sauce to take home! Next time! 😎
Read moreThe only petite advice would be to have every item on the etagere actually be divided into 3 portions (if you order for 3 people). We used a knife/spoon to divide it and would not eat with that cutlery. Because I was with my family I felt no issues communicating that I wanted to use seperate cutlery, and I’m imagining it could be uncomfortable for friends/other guests to have to divide the portions using the cutlery they also use to eat with. That’s why my advice would be to have everything already divided into 3 portions. I’m sure others won’t have an issue with this but I have OCD. 😁

INCREDIBLE!!! MUST VISIT!!! - Edit
A woman and her husband run this place with so much love and care. The interior is very cool. I definitely recommend getting the tower for two. You get 14ish different things to try and they are ALL incredible!!! I can’t believe how good everything is. I would come back to Brugge just to eat here again! We got free peanuts for an appetizer and chose the best dessert- a giant ice cream with red berry sauce and whipped cream!

We didn't know they only serve tapas and seem specialized in drinks rather than food, but we still left with a full belly after sharing 5 tapas and 2 beers. I was pleasantly surprised by the risotto balls, however a bit disappointed by the tiny "pizzas" which had a sort of ratatouille on them. The staff was kind !

Dag Anke, dank voor je feedback. Sorry dat we niet aan de verwachting voldeden. De laatste twee weken hebben we problemen om personeel te vinden ( examens, flexi’s op reis) waardoor we het met ons twee moeten doen. We always take the etagere, as it has a great selection of dishes, and is different every time.
The Eton Mess dessert is delicious!
One annoying thing: people smoking on the front terrace, and the smell of cigarettes entering the resto.

Has moved. The new location is also very nice, has more of a 'restaurant' feeling.
Again, had a nice dinner. Entree, tapas etagee and dessert for 40€.
Friendly service.
Advised to make a reservation (although that wasnt really clear - got no confirmation through the online reservation system, and the phone doesnt get answered - apparently no phone reception in the resto).
Small step to get in. Didnt see an accessible toilet. Toilets clean, with individual towels. And LOVED the tiles on the wall!

The menu only offers a handful of light options (eg nachos with dip), as this is primarily a wine bar. We chose the vegan etagère for two (32€) and it was magnificent! With homemade vegan cheezes, lasagne, avocado spread, a small glass of soup, bread, fresh vegetables and much more.
More than enough for the two of us.
For dessert we shared a chocolate mousse (made with aquafaba) with whip (5€). Nice!
Beautiful decor in an old historic building in the city centre of Bruges. It used to be the painting studio (atelier) of painter Flori Van Acker in the 19th century, hence the name.
On selected dates also live music and art exhibitions.
Accessibility: One small step to get in, some tables on ground floor. Back seat area is with several steps and toilets are also in the back (steps). Didn't see an accessible toilet.

In een woord, "fantastisch". We werden fijn ontvangen door het zweet gastvrije en attente personeel. In alles werden we voorzien en we kregen heel eerlijk advies bij de kaart. Op het terras is het fijn vertoeven en binnen ziet het er sfeervol uit. Heel tof: je kan door een glazen plaat van bovenaf kijken op de wijnkelder. We kozen, net als de meeste gasten die avond, de etagère met vooraf een amuse en na een desert. De amuse was om de vingers bij af te likken. De etagère was een indrukwekkende beleving met veel fijne smaken (de halve kruimelige bal (van tofu) vonden we het minste aan de etagère). Dat terwijl het personeel actief verlichting aanpast naar de passende sfeer.

It was a great dinner experience with a lot of wonderful food. Every dish was described by the staff. Negative was an hour wait time between starter and the main „dish“/tower. All in all a great dinner, but a little bit too expensive.

Lovely, cosy place with incredibly friendly staff. Very nice wine and beer selection. The etagere had a wonderful selection of very tasty and imaginative small bites. My only regret is that we were in a hurry (because we had tickets for a concert) and I missed dessert!

This place is incredible. Truly not to be missed while visiting Bruges. It is so special. We ate here on our last night of our holiday and it was such a perfect end to our trip. The food is just unbelievably delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful. The lady who served us was so lovely and attentive. Book in advance as it can be difficult to get walk-in space. Don't be in a rush, this place is to be savoured!!
