Vegan options

We’ve ordered delivery a couple of times. Have dined in the restaurant which I can’t fault the food. But..Is a big but..the two deliveries we have had can only be described as average. Ordered vegan veg bhoona. My husband order vegan chkn bhoona. The sauce had a sprinkling of frozen veg in what tasted like a shop bought jar of sauce. Only good thing was the naan. Very disappointing….and expensive.

Pros: The naan.

Cons: Sauce. Watery and like shop bought jar sauce, Veg..like basic frozen veg.

Great vegan options

Found this place by accident, just walked by and saw a big vegan menu! Went back to eat the following day and it was fantastic! We ordered tofu saag, Ceylonese ch*cken Korma, pilau rice and a garlic & coriander naan. It was sooooo good! Really tasty, thought had obviously gone into the menu, there was a nice mix of veg, tofu and faux meat to choose from. The korma was the stand out for me, as I really like creamy style sauces, and the ch*cken tasted like the this isn't thighs. Staff really friendly too, and the decor was nice. I'd definitely visit again next time I'm in Glasgow. Can only give 4* as they are an omni place.

Pros: Lots of choice, Korma!, Friendly and cosy.

Possibly the best Indian in Glasgow

Loved this place. Staff was friendly and the vegan menu was good. Ordered the Desi Channa Masala and Tofu Kerala Chilli. They warned us that the Channa Masala was spicy but we like spicy and found it to be just the right amount of spicy. Also ordered the vegan Samosas (2 came in an order) and 2 orders of pilau rice. Everything was absolutely delicious. It was less oily than other Indian restaurants we have been to. I will visit again and would recommend to others.

Nice choices!

We went for my husband's birthday because we'd seen that they do a vegan chicken chasni and that had been his fave curry before going vegan years ago! It was great. I got a korma, which was a nice change, they always have dairy so I never order them! We got vegan chicken pakora and the vegan sharing platter which isn't on the photo of the menu, oops, but it includes vegan haggis pakora (amazing), aloo tikki (potato cakes), marinated tofu kebab thing (delicious) veg pakora, and a samosa on a bed of channa, so good! It was great being able to try everything! We got a "giant nan" which was brilliant, it was huge. The photos don't look great as the place was dark and cosy but rest assured everything was delicious!
