Another 5/5 location in Osaka. - Edit
Great vegan options, wonderful vibe and location. Worth the walk from the station and short wait. We waited for approximately 10 minutes but ordered our food from outside as advised by staff. We had the australian breakfast and vegan tuna melt, both fantastic. Nice drinks too.

Would rate it with 5 Stars ⭐️! Very nice restaurant, there are always people waiting outside, so make sure to bring some time, but it’s definitely worth the wait! We came here 3 times for Brunch, nice vegan options! Especially the Tunah Melt Toast and Açaí Bowl was hilarious!

Aussie Breakfast Deserves 5 ⭐️ - Edit
"Stumbled" upon this restaurant through a quick Happy Cow search of restaurants nearby Osaka Castle. While we did have to wait a bit, (maybe 20 min?) as others have noted, I personally feel it was well worth it!
Read moreThe Aussie breakfast is delicious! I've never had the opportunity to order anything like it before so it felt like a real treat! The "sausage links" that come with it are soooo good!
While I had some of the best tasting vegan food I have ever tried on both of my trips to Japan, I sometimes struggled to find meals that felt hearty and protein-dense. The Aussie breakfast definitely helped lift me out of the self-induced veggie ramen fatigue I was in (denial of). Felt recharged and ready to take on the trillions of daily steps ahead of me! 😉
*I actually went here in mid-December of 2023. I literally think about the breakfast at least once a week. I'm hoping to plan another Japan trip this fall, and wanted to know the name of this place so I can go again as tragically, I didn't save it. Nothing was ringing a bell when I tried searching places in Osaka on HC so my boyfriend looked at his Google location from the day we took the photos to find it again! Really really hope I'll get to eat here again one day soon! 🤤

Good :) - Edit
We had to wait over an hour to be seated during their lunch rush. It's a little bit tight inside but the food was very nice.

They have wagons, foldable tables, and baskets outside. You can take your meal to go and have a picnic elsewhere. What a great idea!

Good pancakes - Edit
I ordered the strawberry pancakes and Aussie vegan breakfast. The pancakes were delicious and fluffy. The vegan breakfast was described (both in words and the photo) as including veggies, vegan eggs, vegan sausage, and vegan meat. The “egg” did not have an eggy texture at all, it was more like a thick sauce. The vegan meat was ok. There was no sausage on the plate. I asked the waitress about it and she used google translate to tell me that the contents of the dish change depending on the day. There was no discount offered for the missing protein and no warning ahead of time.

Great little place that we found when we were looking for a change from traditional Japanese cuisine. I especially liked the matcha banana milkshake😄and the service was very friendly.

Great food, stylish setting - Edit
Would benefit from more vegan options but the food was delicious. Ordered the tuna melt which was filling and a matcha ice latte which came with a sweetening syrup on the side to adjust to your preference. Note the smoothie bowls list honey and bee pollen as ingredients in all so may not be able to be veganised.

Hip cafe with good food and coffee - Edit
We went here after visiting Osaka castle. The interior is very cute. I had the vegan burger which has a soy patty, vegan cheese, avocado, tomato and lettuce. It was very good and the fries were very salty which is rare here in Japan. It was super messy to eat but I guess that’s the case with any thicc burger hahaha. The soy latte was also very good, a light roast and not bitter at all. There were actually a lot of vegan options here so I recommend it!

Wow spoiled for choice here with a whole vegan menu section including the Aussie breakfast, burger, pancakes and sandwich. Oat milk was also available so I had a really nice ice latte.

Very nice - Edit
I liked that they had a decent selection of vegan food. I tried the vegan burger, which was really good (a bit messy to eat, but who really cares). I also got the vegan strawberry sandwich. This was a letdown to me. Normally I would love to get some bread with a bit more fiber, but it didn't quite suit the sweetnes of the strawberries and soy cream (and it was kinda pricy in my opinion). They were however, nice and helpful😊

good food - Edit
i got the vegan sandwich and at first i was like “wow that’s kinda pricey for a sandwich” but fries and salad were included as well so it made sense! the vegetables were so fresh and you could actually taste the “organic”!
Read morethe customer service wasn’t that great to be honest.. when i entered the store they ignored me for 1min and then said i can sit wherever i want and when i sat down i had to change my seat (even tho the seat wasn’t reserved) so i will go there again but for take out and gonna eat my sandwich in the park right next to the store hehe
Pros: quite a lot of vegan options!, fresh organic veggies
