baklava is not vegan - Edit
All of it contains honey sadly. But the hummus and falafel were really good. And you get some free mango at the end.

Good vegetarian food - Edit
This place is absolutely AMAZING for vegetarian food. The Lebanese food here was my introduction to the cuisine and needless to say I'm a big fan. Would definitely go there again. They are very friendly to tourists and the owner is one of the sweetest people ever. A definite must visit.

States ‘vegan also’ in large letters on their permanent awning in but the proprietor herself thinks vegan and vegetarian are interchangeable words.

What do I say to that?
This is a website for vegans and for vegetarians, to share our understanding of foods we can eat around the world.
I’m not really sure what’s your point about your poorly trained staff?
They are no help to vegans and vegetarians and the very point is that, when we are lied to, then that is the worst thing any company can do.
It’s so odd it took you two years to check your reviews and then feel hard done by, because I’d been given food by your team that went against my beliefs? I was SO angry at the time.
Won’t be changing my rating. Not petty. A score delivered because we weren’t told the truth.
If the service staff aren’t trained properly (as you now claim: I remember it being the owner/manager then vegetarians and vegans can’t trust the produce buyers, the chefs etc.
Feel free to start to make improvements, and show the vegetarian and vegan community you care….
And respond to complaints in the same language they were made you ignoramus!

Ils n’aident pas les végétaliens et les végétariens et le fait est que, lorsqu’on nous ment, c’est la pire chose qu’une entreprise puisse faire.
C'est tellement étrange qu'il t'ait fallu deux ans pour vérifier tes avis et ensuite te sentir maltraité, parce que ton équipe m'avait donné de la nourriture qui allait à l'encontre de mes convictions ? J'étais tellement en colère à ce moment-là.
Cela ne changera pas ma note. Pas mesquin. Un score délivré car on ne nous a pas dit la vérité.
Si le personnel de service n'est pas correctement formé (comme vous le prétendez maintenant : je me souviens qu'il s'agit du propriétaire/gestionnaire, alors les végétariens et les végétaliens ne peuvent pas faire confiance aux acheteurs de produits, aux chefs, etc.
N'hésitez pas à commencer à apporter des améliorations et à montrer à la communauté végétarienne et végétalienne que vous vous souciez....
Et répondez aux plaintes dans la même langue dans laquelle elles vous ont été adressées, ignorant !

Service and Food A+ - Edit
My partner and I shared a vegan mezze platter with vine leaves, hummus, baba ghanoush, pita bread, falafel and creamy lentils. Food was absolutely delicious and filling. $15USD for 2 people (most me I items around $2.50 ea per dish). Staff were friendly and attentive and knowledgeable about their menu. There is also a wide range of (mostly) vegan baklava!
