Vegetarian & vegan café located in a clothing store. Serves light lunches and pastries such as sandwiches with root vegetables & lentils, salads, cinnamon buns and more. The cafe itself is cashless, however it is possible to pay in cash at the till next to it, even though it belongs to the clothing shop. Please note that many businesses in Sweden are cashless. Open Mon-Fri 08:00-20:00, Sat 10:00-19:00, Sun 11:00-18:00. Kitchen closes approx 3pm.

Good, a little greasy - Edit
I came here for the cinnamon bun everyone talks about and texturally it did not disappoint. The cinnamon flavor was spot on and I love that it was unfrosted. I found it too oily in the middle though, which was kind of a bummer. I liked it but wouldn’t go out of my way for it again.

And it did not dissappoint! As people before has described it it was fluffy, moist and flaky all at the same time.
Read moreCoffee (americano) was lukewarm though and quite sour tasting. And was sad to see the vegan options wasn’t marked “vegan”, so you have to ask for vegan options. I see in the pictures before the bun is indeed marked “vegan”, so this must be something they stopped with recently..

The vegan cinnamon bun was delicious and tasted just like an American one (sweeter and more cinnamon). I promised myself I wouldn’t eat the whole thing … and it was a close call since it was sooooo good! The oat macchiato was OK.

Great lunch on the go - Edit
Had the pulled roots wrap and a cinnamon bun. The wrap was very tasty healthy and filling with chunky bits of root vegetable in a great sauce, pickled red onion and salad. The bun was amazing, light and flaky and melt in the mouth, with the nuts adding a nice crunch. Handily located at Drottninggatan with reasonable prices. Also offers soup and salads. Recommend.

Amazing wraps! - Edit
Seriously, Arket cafe has THE BEST wraps ever made! Bread is thicker than others I’ve eating before and I totally love it! The filling is creamy with a lot of sauce! And they have kombucha! And vegan “fika”!

Vegan kanelbullar - Edit
Got a vegan kanelbullar to go and only later realised it’s not made the traditional way with a yeast dough, but a rather crumbly filo dough. It was nevertheless tasty!

It's nice to have something else than falafel and hummus for a chance. Five stars for the vegan stuff. A fine simple place, good soft drinks and lovely cinnamon buns.
