Ark is an unbelievable place, the chefs creativity is put of this world.
Read moreWe have been three times for different minus and every time is magical. We always get the wine package which pairs beautifully with the food.
The dishes are typically small bites that fine dining offers and it is always worth the price.
Dishes are thoroughly explained. food is as local sourced as possible, and staff+owner forages for some ingredients. Interior embraces the same theme with artists and creators from Denmark. Staff is excellent, friendly, knowledgable and charming.
Owners are lovely.

I treated myself to Ark in November 2022 for my 40th birthday when I was in Copenhagen. Was it expensive? Yes. Was it worth it? Every single penny. The service was impeccable, each dish was better than the last, and I would absolutely spend the money again.

Beautifully designed environment and a comfortable, cosy place to enjoy your meal.
The staff were wonderful and spoke through each of the dishes. Although, we were left waiting quite a bit for our final course.
Would go back again to see their summer menu.

Seriously. And bring your meat-loving friends - they won't regret it, and neither will you. One of our absolute favourite restaurants in Copenhagen. They are the Mushroom Whisperers. The menu is inspired, the staff has a complete service-focused mentality (in the best, relaxed way), and the drinks are unique and special. Just go here.

After trying Lupa in my first day after arriving to my short holiday in Copenhagen, I was very much looking forward to try Ark as well... and it did not disappoint! It's above all an experience of masterly crafted Vegan food that is sustainability and where very ingredient was though off. At times it can even become too conceptual and showing of techniques (that still taste amazing) rather than just having a very very good quality meal (like in Lupa). But there's no need to compare, both are amazing experiences and meals and provide different settings.
Read moreEverything was very close to perfection to be honest, the venue is nice and cozy without being pretentious, the service is super nice and even though it's not "casual" it also doesn't feel like it's formal and the food as said before, brings you through a journey, an experience, where you enjoy every little bit.
There's also nice options for beverages and the ones we tried were all quite nice.
It's obviously on the expensive side, but totally worth every penny if you ask me.

La experiencia general fue buena, el lugar bonito y con buena energía, el staff muy amble y dispuesto, la comida muy rica y con buena presencia. Como crítica constructiva, el menú me pareció poco consistente, varios platos son cremas y/o sopas, lo único consistente fue el plato con las setas ostra, pero considero que una sola seta es muy poco y el plato de paté con brioche es consistente pero es más tipo entrante, entonces no acabé de entender el hilo conductor de los platos en cuanto a texturas y consistencias. Me gustó pero esperaba más. Destaco el detalle del menú impreso para plantar, me parece una idea muy bonita.

If you are looking for an elegant fine dining experience, this is the place. The restaurant is elegant and cozy. The staff is superb, ensuring that you are having a great experience and explaining every dish. The food, served as a seasonally changing menu, is amazing. They try to source everything locally, including mushrooms from their own farm.

A vegan tasting experience can’t be much better. Little pricey but a must try place. The menu changes 4 times a year seasonal minor changes there between. Good space for each table - a big plus for that.

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. Made reservations ahead online. Each course was amazing but our favorites were the smoked ricotta sourdough crumpet and the white turnip macadamia gazpacho. The sourdough apparently took 8 months to develop.

We had the great opportunity to find an open meal slot at the last minutes when we learned about this as an option while traveling. I would love to come back again and again as well as discover and enjoy their other restaurant concepts. The pics tell a story of creativity and sustainable living. The staff has a very professional yet friendly and informative attitude towards you. They could adapt the meals for me without soy (because Im allergic) with ease.
