Delicious middle eastern food

It was quite hard to find Amargi but the search was worth it. I ordered one of the hot meals. The vegetables were so soft that they melted on your tongue, the taboulé was on point and some bread was given to take the last drop of sauce from your plate. This is wat middle eastern food has te be!

comfy lunchtime

The first thing I noticed was how comfortable amargi feels. Perfect first stop after the travel to Hamburg! The menu of the day was comprised of 2 warm meals served with rice/bulgur (8,90€) and a mixed cold plate (9,90€). I tried a warm meal, it tasted great and was very filling

Pros: All vegan restaurant

Excellent food and value!

In this lovely space there is an option of a cold or a hot lunch meal. I went for the cold which came on a huge ceramic tray with tasty bulgur, hummus, stuffed kibbe, pickles, beet salad, green bean stew, and a side of pita bread. It was so much delicious food for €9.90 which is such great value!

Amazing food!

Very friendly people, very cozy place and the food was delicious! When we were there they offered two warm dishes and one mixed platter with cold food. Everything was really well done and very tasty. Also the price was really good (9-10€/dish).

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly people , Cozy place

I had a bit of trouble finding, but once there…

Amargi is not exactly where Google Maps shows; it is a bit further down the street, through a tunnel into the apartment complex behind. There is a sign once you get inside the courtyard, and once you get to the building it’s on the first floor, up 2 flights of stairs.

On the outside it may look a little dodgy but once you get to Amargi it is a beautiful and relaxing space, with lovely staff and great food. It’s a set menu plus your choice of drinks. I had a stew with rice, pickles, and pita bread. I’m very happy I found it and very much enjoyed.

Pros: Great food, Nice people

Cons: A bit hard to find

Sehr lecker und sehr gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis!

Das Essen war sehr frisch und lecker! Auch die Köche waren sehr freundlich. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall dort hin zu gehen😄
