Bandeja Paisa - Edit
I went here for lunch. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Something that bothered me was that there were lots of problems with the speaker playing music.
Read moreI had the Bandeja Paisa (40.000 COP) and a marimba (6.000 COP). It all tasted well and the Bandeja Paisa was quite a big portion, which I appreciated.

Wonderful! - Edit
I had one of the specials which was a Lebanese meal. It was wonderful. Big portions and tasty. It's a lovely place to sit and they have a bakery, ice cream bar and art gallery. The menu del dia changes every day and it's amazing...usually around 28000. They also sell organic produce, - vegetables, fruit, and many other things.

Super - Edit
Probably my favorite place in Medellín. The staff was incredibly friendly, all smiles and even helped a person who was a bit sick and refused to accept anything for helping. Speaks volumes. The food was great at a nice price. They have a little store with lots of goodies inside as well. I got the tofu scramble plate and added queso for my arepa to go with maracuya juice. Everything was delicious, I wanted to get more to go but didn’t have the time. Just really happy to see such kind people. Amazing food.

The BEST - Edit
This was our absolute favorite place while visiting Medellin. The menu rotated daily and we could always count on it to be high quality. Dishes varied between world cuisines and local. Service was slow but excellent, like visiting a fine-dining restaurant but you get to sit outdoors (with a cover if it's raining). There was a market with food, clothing, and toiletries. And the chef spoke with us and immediately made friends. We dined here several times while we were in Medellin.

cheap and cosy - Edit
ordered the menú del día, which was Mexicana Miércoles today. came with a berry juice, soup, a main and a little sweet at the end, all for COP25K. more specifics on the main, translated from their menu:
Read more“Aztec soup accompanied by avocado corn, sour cream and nachos. Carrot and turmeric brown rice accompanied by a bed of lettuce with guacamole and pico de gallo option of burrito, bowl or taco (this taco is seasonal), stuffed with refried beans and ground lentil meat.”
though nothing mind blowing, dishes were flavourful and cheap. 4⭐️ for that!
Pros: cheap menu of the day, cosy terrace

The Best Vegan Experience in Medellín - Edit
It was our first lunch experience in a restaurant in Colombia. I believe we started with a golden key. We ordered La Bandeja Paisa. The experience was spectacular. The chef commented to us that her son studies in Brazil and the attendant had several Brazilian relatives and spoke Portuguese. Very welcoming atmosphere and on the day we were fascinated by the loud music played in the kitchen by the cooks. Everyone singing loudly a song (half reggaeton, half electronic), I found the experience very cool. Without a doubt, it was the best gastronomic experience (typical food, service, atmosphere, music, welcome) that we had in all of Colombia.

Very delicious food! - Edit
When I came to this restaurant they had a delicious Mexican special which my friend and I ordered.
Read moreAnother friend had the arabica dish (I cannot recall the exact name).
We all loved our dishes! They were very tasty and filling.
With our Mexican dish they gave us some vegan cream cheese on the side without having to ask. They also gave us more nachos upon request with no additional charge.
Service was great as well.
The only thing is we did not love the desserts, the tiramisu was pretty good but the oat cup we did not really care for. May be just us though.
Pros: Very tasty, Great service

Good food, long wait - Edit
I ordered the item of the day, the Hindu plate, and got a ton of food. My order took a while to show up, and my starving family members (we had just arrived in Medellin after a long trip) helped me eat it. If I weren't with family, it would have been awkward, as their dishes took another 20 minutes.
Read moreThe outdoor seating was pleasant, as it was shady and the street is quiet. There is indoor seating as well.

Lovely little spot and one satisfied customer. $36000 for the tofu scramble with an additional sausage and a fresh juice. I think the price included service too. If I lived in El Poblado I think I would visit this place frequently.

Great food - Edit
We came here for lunch and ordered a breakfast bowl and an Indian platter. Both were exquisitely good. The bowl was super filled with al kinds of nut and granola and was very tasty. The Indian platter had this several kinds of dips, rice and naan and was just great also thinking value money wise. You get great food for your money here and the staff is super friendly. Downsides for us were the sour cappuccinos (without foam so one can hardly call that a cappuccino), the owner shouted to a staff member which was not so nice and also awkward for all of us. And we buyed some chickpea burgers to make at home but they fell apart immediately as they contained too much water so we had to make scramble instead of burgers.
