Ok… - Edit
Food wasn’t bad, wasn’t great. The cocktails were truly watery and bad though.

Service was a bit aloof and there was about 20min gap between my meal and my partner’s meal being served soooo that sucked.

Great onion rings - Edit
I had booked for dinner. The restaurant wasn’t all that busy when we arrived although the metro to get there was packed. We ordered a plate of onion rings to share. They were crispy and had a good flavour. I ordered the soy cutlet with a green salad and brown rice. It was nice but I would have loved some vegetables with it. They had crème brûlée and I couldn’t resist. It was a good sized serving and the top was delicious. The custard had a nice flavour too. My partner enjoyed the burger and the ice cream sundae that he had. I tasted both and they were nice.

Great vegan food - Edit
We got the cutlet plate and the cutlet burger as well as the Mac and cheese. All of that was tasty.
Read moreAlso got the iced matcha latte which was great. The lemon soda was quite lemony and sour, no sweetener was used.
It’s quite spacious, many seats. We were there for lunch on a weekday and it wasn’t very busy.
There are some steps to enter the restaurant, and a very steep ramp, probably more for bikes that strollers or wheelchairs.
So far the best Ain Soph we have been to.

Pancakes to die for! - Edit
Great if you’re craving a burger……calm and peaceful setting. I was full after my burger but so pleased I tried the lemon pancakes for dessert (a seasonal summer version of their normal ones). 100% so yummy.

Still amazing all these years later - Edit
I came to ain soph soar for the first time in 2017. Years later in 2024 it’s still an incredible restaurant but now with a completely different venue.
Read moreWith the closure of ain soph ripple, they have absorbed many of the menu items from their burger joint into their main restaurant, eliminating the fine dining Italian theme I remember many years ago.
The food still holds up years later. It’s a beautiful venue and experience and the staff are still just as warm and welcoming as always. Thank you for the beautiful meal! We’d recommend getting the pork cutlet plate, the cutlet was fried to absolute perfection and texturally it was such a dream.
Pros: Pork cutlet plate , Ripple burger, Cheesecake

Two visits this trip both delicious - Edit
Visited this restaurant twice over our three weeks in Japan and the food was fantastic both times. We tried the ripple burger, chilli cheese burger (not that hot) and the karaage chicken plus a few other side dishes and loved it all. Staff were lovely and English friendly!

Soybean cutlet and corn soup were really nice! - Edit
I come here for the first time and i really enjoyed the soybean cutlet. It looked like a spam to me except that it’s made of soy. The homemade mayonnaise along with the cutlet was really nice.

Great BBQ Burger - Edit
Very calm atmosphere. I had the ripple cheese burger and it was Fantastic!!! It had a great taste. It wasn’t a grainy patty that tasted like a vegan burger. It had a good taste similar to beyond and their BBQ sauce wasn’t overpowering. They are very generous with the sauce and it will drip everywhere (which is great, as who likes a burger lacking in sauce). The fries and onion rings are also good.

Lovely, Friendly Restaurant - Edit
A lovely restaurant with a homely feel. The staff were very friendly and easily accommodated a peanut allergy without any hassle. It was quiet when we visited and so we were seated right away.
Read moreThe menu has a lot of options, all vegan. The food was very tasty, fresh and the soy meat tasted very realistic. Our party wasn't all vegan but everyone enjoyed their food all the same.
I ordered a matcha which was just a bit too sweet for me, but this is just a personal preference and seems to be a common theme among iced matchas in Japan. Everyone else enjoyed their drinks.
Would highly reccomend, and it's very conveniently located nearby the Sunshine building.
Pros: Fresh, Tasty Food, Large vegan menu, Friendly staff, and nice interior

Good vegan food - Edit
All the food was good. I particularly liked the matcha tiramisu. I went alone on a quiet Tuesday and the service was prompt and very friendly (waitress spoke English so that made things easier for me). I ordered a course, with soup/salad starter, a cheese burger and fries main, and the matcha tiramisu dessert with iced coffee. You can order dishes separately. It's not cheap for Japan, but compared with UK prices very reasonable. They take last orders at 8pm, so be aware they close quite early. As a vegan I am always happy to find a completely vegan menu.

The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere and The food was delicious, they were sold out of a couple of options (like the falafel burger) but still a great selection of burgers and meals. The taco salad was delicious, and they had a seasonal strawberry pancake dessert with ice cream that was a dream! Highly recommend!
