Does This Place Exist? - Edit
Let me start by saying that I spent an hour walking around the Historic District in Mexico City looking for vegan food (using the Happy Cow app) on a Friday evening. I was not having any luck.
Read moreSo, when I attempted to locate Abracadabra, I was running out of patience. There was no signage indicating that there was a place called Abracadabra Cocina de Corazon. There was, however, a hotel entrance and a Cuban eatery at the designated location. I kept looking up at the second floor from the street because it looked like a pizza place but no directions or signs saying as much.
I suppose I could have gone upstairs to inquire but this was my third attempt to find vegan food and I was ready to go back to my hostel. Keep in mind I had spent 12 hours traveling to get to CDMX, hadn't slept more than an hour or two on the plane or the previous night, and hadn't eaten a meal since the day before. No bueno.

Delicious freshly made vegan pizza’s and hamburgers - Edit
Run by a super friendly couple, this restaurant has a lot of meat dishes, but the menu has vegan options and the owner gets very happy when you ask for those. She made us the most delicious fresh made pizza, as wel as a very tasty hamburger/calzone.

Given the not so many vegan options in Mexico City, we were very happy to stumble upon this cozy place
