Cozy and vibrant vegan bakery - Edit
Everything I've tried at À La Lo was incredible. I brought here my non-vegan relatives and they loved the experience. The banana yoghurt and turkish yoghurt are probably my favorite options.

Amazing vegan brunch - Edit
Lovely place! Fully vegan brunch. We had the brunch place and the french toast, both really amazing.
Read moreAlso they have the best vegan croissant I've ever tried! They even won a price for it!
The place gets full really fast so I recommend coming early, especially if you want to get croissants, they are the first to finish.
Very recomended!

Favorite brunch place in Stockholm - Edit
Been here many times. Love everything I've tried on the menu. The croissants are to die for. Great tasting coffee. Often crowded and sometimes very loud, would have helped to put up acoustic panels on walls or ceiling I think. But that won't stop me from coming back as often as I can!

Delicious breakfast - Edit
It was hard to decide what to eat because everything was vegan. My bread with avocado and scrumbled tofu by side was fulfilling and delicious. I took also a smoothie, it had raspberry and licourice in it and i loved it, not too much licourice taste. I saw many beautiful foods carried to another tables, I definitely have to go there again to taste something more.

A La lo - Edit
I’ve since been back and my second experience was OK compared to my first one. The croissant was very dense and greasy. The citron cake was inedible. The cortados were good. Staff were nice.

amazing quality of food - Edit
Amazing quality of the Croissant (which also won a prize) and fruit platter and avocado bread. One of the best ones I’ve ever had (of each of them) and will not forget truly. If you are not speaking Swedish, you have to check the menu online, which is not clearly marked in the cafe, also you need some time to wait for the food (we came around 10:30ish) which is worth it …

All vegan, but the cake was disappointing - Edit
Looked good, but my cake was dry and the poppy seeds were very hard. Other options looked good and the place was busy at lunchtime.

A Godsend in Stockholm - Edit
Fantastic brunch plate (their scrambled tofu is excellent). Full marks also to their croissants and cakes - truly exceptional. Would like to see more protein in their lunch options though. And as much as I love the place, the cleaning standards are very low.

Ate a very nice brunch here in March and still think about the veganized dream swiss roll there 🧡 Cozy location, good coffee and friendly staff. Our food was delayed due to problems with the toaster and they gave us a free pastry to make up for it. Recommended!

Cute all vegan cafe - Edit
Cute and stylish cafe offering all-vegan baked goods, cake and a few main dishes. The kimchi grilled cheese was filling and tasty; the croissant was very good; and the carrot cake was light and spicy. It felt more Parisian than Swedish! I’d prefer more savoury dishes, but otherwise it was excellent. Oh, and check out the amazing toilet room…

Chickens come home to roost - Edit
This place is generally full (of hipsters, mind you), and here on HappyCow people remain enthusiastic about it, but their average on TripAdvisor is a mere 3.4. Unfortunately, it is also my belief that it has changed for the worse. I used to think their banh mi was maybe the best in the city (and I've been to Saigon Baguette, Eatnam, Bun Bun, Vi Na Fresh, Thi thi Baguette). However, said item is nowhere to be found at this point.
Read moreI've never really dug their sweet items that much, though I understand folks get a kick out of finding a vegan croissant. But I visit Paris fairly often, always by train, so I'm not quite as excited. Speaking of their croissants, it doesn't seem professional that the prices on their website aren't up-to-date, especially when it's designed by one of the owners.
Lastly, and as the final nail in the coffin as far as my visits to À La Lo are concerned, it saddens me that, while they were slightly less cash reluctant during the pandemic (guess why), these days it is nearly impossible to get them to accept actual money. Oh the irony, while it has become pretty socially acceptable to be a prepper/survivalist in Stockholm, the average Swede doesn't seem to care about the advice from our Central Bank to use cash on a more frequent basis, so that the infrastructure for it won't be dismantled even more and we will have a valid alternative in the event of a crisis or a war. Talk about being faktaresistent, that is, unwilling to take in data that doesn't suit one's ideas.

Great brunch, an exceptional kimchi cheese toastie! Grab one of the best croissants you’ll taste whilst you wait for a table to be free, brunch time is busy at the weekends, and understandably so! 🌱
