amazing quality of food

Amazing quality of the Croissant (which also won a prize) and fruit platter and avocado bread. One of the best ones I’ve ever had (of each of them) and will not forget truly. If you are not speaking Swedish, you have to check the menu online, which is not clearly marked in the cafe, also you need some time to wait for the food (we came around 10:30ish) which is worth it …

Pros: Quality of food, Choice of food

Cons: English menu only online , Can be crowded , takes some time to be prepared

All vegan, but the cake was disappointing

Looked good, but my cake was dry and the poppy seeds were very hard. Other options looked good and the place was busy at lunchtime.

A Godsend in Stockholm

Fantastic brunch plate (their scrambled tofu is excellent). Full marks also to their croissants and cakes - truly exceptional. Would like to see more protein in their lunch options though. And as much as I love the place, the cleaning standards are very low.

Pros: Brunch plate , Baked goods, Staff

Cons: Not very clean establishment

Amazing unelmatorttu!!

Ate a very nice brunch here in March and still think about the veganized dream swiss roll there 🧡 Cozy location, good coffee and friendly staff. Our food was delayed due to problems with the toaster and they gave us a free pastry to make up for it. Recommended!

Pros: Dream swiss roll , Varied menu , Friendly staff

The best vegan croissant in Stockholm!

I love their croissants! Crunchy and soft inside. A bit expensive but so delicious.
I was not very impressed by their chai latte and beetroot latte but the matcha was good!

Cute all vegan cafe

Cute and stylish cafe offering all-vegan baked goods, cake and a few main dishes. The kimchi grilled cheese was filling and tasty; the croissant was very good; and the carrot cake was light and spicy. It felt more Parisian than Swedish! I’d prefer more savoury dishes, but otherwise it was excellent. Oh, and check out the amazing toilet room…

Pros: Stylish , Tasty , All vegan

Chickens come home to roost

This place is generally full (of hipsters, mind you), and here on HappyCow people remain enthusiastic about it, but their average on TripAdvisor is a mere 3.4. Unfortunately, it is also my belief that it has changed for the worse. I used to think their banh mi was maybe the best in the city (and I've been to Saigon Baguette, Eatnam, Bun Bun, Vi Na Fresh, Thi thi Baguette). However, said item is nowhere to be found at this point.
I've never really dug their sweet items that much, though I understand folks get a kick out of finding a vegan croissant. But I visit Paris fairly often, always by train, so I'm not quite as excited. Speaking of their croissants, it doesn't seem professional that the prices on their website aren't up-to-date, especially when it's designed by one of the owners.
Lastly, and as the final nail in the coffin as far as my visits to À La Lo are concerned, it saddens me that, while they were slightly less cash reluctant during the pandemic (guess why), these days it is nearly impossible to get them to accept actual money. Oh the irony, while it has become pretty socially acceptable to be a prepper/survivalist in Stockholm, the average Swede doesn't seem to care about the advice from our Central Bank to use cash on a more frequent basis, so that the infrastructure for it won't be dismantled even more and we will have a valid alternative in the event of a crisis or a war. Talk about being faktaresistent, that is, unwilling to take in data that doesn't suit one's ideas.

100% worth the wait!

Great brunch, an exceptional kimchi cheese toastie! Grab one of the best croissants you’ll taste whilst you wait for a table to be free, brunch time is busy at the weekends, and understandably so! 🌱

Pros: Kimchi cheese toastie!, French toast!, Croissants!

Nice cake and lovely coffee

We whent for some fica. The cake was great, as was the tea and coffee.

We had the rolecake, the filling was nice. The coconutbrownie was delicious but had 2 very different layers of texture what made it difficult to eat. The lemonade is everything you need on a hot day.

Fantastic weekend brunch

Amazing, amazing all-vegan cafe. Serves excellent french toast on weekends, and the pastries are all delicious. Biggest downside is that it’s always packed (and I get why)! Maybe better on a weekday.

Pros: Great food

Cons: Crowded

Kind staff and great vegan croissant if you can get it

The staff are so lovely and kind in this little cafe. I love going for breakfast/brunch. It has a great range of breakfast-y items and delicious coffee. They croissant are delicious but they sell out quickly so get there early!

Amazing brunch and best vegan croissants ever

Fully vegan coffe/bruch place. We went there a few times. Love this place! The staff is very nice and the food is amazing!
The place is tiny so try to go early for brunch or late for lunch.
For brunch we had the "o la la toast" and the "brunch plate", which were very similar, the brunch plate is a bit more complete. The amount is more than enough, very filling.
🥐🥐They have THE BEST vegan croissants I've ever tried (they've even been awarded a price for them), we had the plain one but you can also have them with chocolate cream, cream cheese or jam.🥐🥐
We also tried the carrot cake which was great.
Can't recommend this place enough💚🌱

Came back for lunch during a weekday. Had the asian salad, with sweet potato noodles, which comes with lots of veggies, peanuts and spring rolls.
They have it prepared for take away in the fridge, which is a pity if you are having it there, since there is too much plastic waste. Despite that the dish was very tasty.

Friendly, pppular and tasty

Forgot it was Saturday and arrived at 11:45, so all the croissants were gone. But got a brownie and a mango lassi instead and both are super good! Dog friendly cafe so I got to meet some really cute dogs while I was there, too!

Perfect brunch!

Super good Brunch, and the croissant is amazing (better come early to get one)!
The service is quite slow, but we were happy to get a table for the Brunch. The portions are more than enough!

Pros: Croissant, Satisfying food, Big portions

Cons: Service was slow

Very very underwhelming (I’m sorry)

The avocado bread was with too much lemon, the scrabbled tofu was with too much pepper. The croissant was nice tho, but not as fluffy as a croissant usually is, but it tasted well. The mango lassi was a pudding texture , but not a lassi at all… All in all I am kind of disappointed regarding the perfect reviews this location has. Everything was just not well spiced

Pros: Café was really good, Portions are big

Cons: Over spiced food, Bad lassi, Not fluffy croissant, more like bready type…
