Really nice restaurant with not many vegan options. - Edit
The place is super pretty and more on the elegant / fancy side, but it's reasonably priced still. There aren't many vegan options, and when we asked, the waiter couldn't differentiate between the vegan and vegetarian options - though these are clearly marked on the menu, so you shouldn't have much trouble with that.

There are not too many vegan-friendly places in non-central areas of Budapest.
Read moreA Kert Bistro is one of them. It has some vegan options, including a starter, a main dish and two desserts. I ate a lovely tofu with mushrooms and seaweeds, served with sweet potato fries. It was a unique combination and pretty tasty.
Pros: Nice garden area, Friendly staff, Two vegan dessert options

Read moreThe tofu main course was made from a high quality tofu indeed a roasted tofu with spices will not amuse me, the see weed and shimeji mushroom added some special taste. I asked for son pok choi as garnish.
Service is great.
Pros: Clearly vegan marked meals, Good atmosphere , Good service
