Gute Burger

Der Burger war lecker, nur anscheinend gab es keinen veganen Käse. Ich weiß nicht ob es an der Sprachbarriere lag, aber ich hatte dann keinen Käse im Burger.

Cons: Extrem kalt klimatisiert

Not bad

We came to this Burger Shop by accident and were surprised but happy to find a vegan Lunch Spot in this area. It's very close to Osaka castle. The people were really friendly and spoke perfect english. We directly git a seat, but it got crowded later and there was a line outside. The vegan Cheeseburger was sold out, so I got the Hamburger which was okay. It was a bit too dry for me and not enough Sauce, but the taste overall was good. It came with Fries, but only a very small amount of Fries.

Moderately priced burger, not exceptional food

Handy location right off the subway near the park, the burger was nice but lacking flavour. The plant based burger patty was flavourless, the cheese was the main flavour you could taste. Fries were slightly soggy. ¥1800 for burger and fries.

Stop by for a quick lunch

We had the PB Cheese Burger and a soy milk latte. The Cheese Burgers were okay. The patty was really meat-like, which can be good for some folks. Other than that, the topping were what comes with a usual cheese burger.
The fries were okay, but definitely not great.

The latte was also not really delicious, but the average coffee drink in japan seems to be a little different to what I encountered elsewhere.

Overall it was an average okay-ish experience but comparably expensive. Go here if u need an urgent snack.

Pros: Friendly staff, Clearly listed vegan options

Cons: Limited options

Good food

Clear plant based/ vegan area on menu. We had a tuna melt each which uses omni tuna, vegan cheese etc, and fries. Fries actually comes on the side of the sandwich but I ordered extra without understanding the waitress lol fries b4 guys. Fast service

Confusing name (55+) but Good food😄

I followed pics in previous reviews and it led me to another place, “Jo’s” which is very **not** Veg/VG friendly! The actual name is indeed “55 ”. It’s the first cafe on the left from the JR Osakajokoen station, on ground level. A great spot to stop before or after exploring Osaka castle.

Staff are lovely, food is tasty, and its ready fairly quickly. Most staff around only speak Japanese so have your translator app ready if you don’t know the local language.

I asked about the difference between “plant based burger”, and “plant based cheese burger”, if it was only PB cheese that was the difference, because there’s no ingredients list on the menu. She said yes.

The PB Cheese burger had a plant based patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, a few fried onions, Mayo (or perhaps aoli) and mustard. There was a slightly different taste in the patty I couldn’t put my finger on, a spice, vegetable or pepper of some kind perhaps.
Some of the burgers I’ve had in Japan haven’t been up to standards elsewhere but this was really good!😄Tasty and the texture was good too.

Pros: The food, The service , The atmosphere

Cons: A little hard to find because of the name , No ingredients breakdowns for the burgers

Plant based does not mean vegan in Japan by the way. Plant based products in the supermarket have meat in them, for example.
