I love that store!! Vegan Donuts ❤️❤️❤️ - Edit
I felt like in paradies (as usually in 100% vegan restaurants) but this one with junk food that I really enjoyed.
Read moreOrdered two burgers and two donuts because I couldn’t decide. And liked all of it.
You order via QR code and online menu. Later you pay at the cashier and can take some takeaways if you like. I took chocolate croissants for later / next day. Prices are okish. See the menu at pictures.
Donuts come with sour powder - nice experience.
Will go again.
Pros: the burgers , the donuts !!!, vegan ice cream

Vegan omu rice in Tokyo - Edit
Great for a quick bite in Giza. Great omu rice! Looks and consistency is very similar to eggs.

Love this place - Edit
Everything is vegan in the store. They have amazing croissant (filled/plain) and they also have some frozen one to buy. They do take away. Really a nice place for a breakfast or afternoon tea (for sweet treats)

Read moreI had a truffle omurice (meant to order the classic one but I made a mistake) but it was nice nonetheless. Also had a strawberry iced matcha latte and some juice. This place is convenient if you’re shopping nearby.
I also went to the 2foods in Loft in Shibuya, there’s one there too, had a chocolate croissant which was a bit overly greasy but alright.

It was fine - Edit
Reviews had me expecting a bit more. Tried the spicy burger as well as the matcha and banana croissant. Both were good, but nothing special. If I assume that the food is significantly healthier than other options they may get bumped up to a 4, but without any way to easily confirm that it’s a 3 for me.

Good, not great - Edit
Maybe I was expecting more but the food was just ok.. The croissant was amazing but other hot dishes were nothing I would go out of my way again to try. Love that they are all vegan but food does not do it for me, sorry. Others will disagree, because the place was packed. They are clearly successful.

Vegan omurice! - Edit
I came here especially for the vegan omurice. It didn't disappoint. I chose the demi glace sauce. It brought back memories of eating omurice in Japan 20 years ago before I was vegan.

Nothing short of perfect - Edit
The food here is fantastic! The staff is attentive and caring, I even had one of the waitresses do a small questionnaire to know how they could improve their menu and have more vegan options. If they ever add cinnamon rolls, let it be known it was my idea😄

Yummy vegan omurice - Edit
2Foods was completely different to some of the other places I visited on my trip, in that it was located inside a very busy Loft store and not tucked away behind an alleyway. I got the winter special creamy omurice which was completely vegan and a craft cola to go with it. The omurice was good (I found it a bit heavy) and the craft cola was alright. Would recommend the restaurant if you’re in the area. #Veganuary

Almost Brilliant - Edit
This review is mostly for the now permanenetly closed Shibuya Loft 2foods, but since they are the same company, meals, and pretty much everything else, I felt that this review still applies. (I have been to Ginza Loft 2foods a few times but have simply been to the Shibuya one way more)
Read moreI have tried basically everything apart from the spicy burger, from several of the seasonal menu's, and can quite confidently say that 90% of the food is simply great. From the soup to the fries and the desserts; amazing desserts. I would most often get the tantanmen soup and one of the doughnuts. The orders work from scanning a QR code and choosing all the things from there; with the option to "serve after meal" for desserts, which I'll talk more about later. Payment is made at the counter once finished.
They also have a takeaway store with a bunch of plant-based products such as cheese, sauce, plain or chocolate croissants and more. (You can also takeaway some meals)
Now all this comes at a good price for what you get, except that there have been a few problems at 2foods. During my stay in Japan I never had any problems with any restaurants about anything, except 2foods, and not just a few problems, a whole list of them which I'll talk a bit about here.
First of all, the "serve later" system; this system simply relies on the waiter realizing that you've finished your food and then bring you dessert. This doesn't work. I've often had to wait very long times to get dessert or be forgotten entirely, recommend to just make two seperate orders for the same table. Another problem is errors, I've been given wrong takeaway orders several times with one time given a heated croissant instead of a frozen bag of 2, or given one bag instead of the 2 I had ordered and paid for (later resolved without issue). Last but not least is the availability of dishes, where often there are several items sold out, sometimes even over half of the menu (including takeout items). This is a quick summary of the main problems I encounterred at 2foods.
Overall I would highly recommend the food here, despite its many management problems, I would still keep this as one of my main eating spots in Tokyo.
Pros: Tasty Food, Takeaway store, Good price for the food
Cons: Errors, Serve later system, Availability of dishes

Came here for the omurice - Edit
This is on ground level of Loft in Ginza. Very easy to find using Google maps. You go in, find a seat and order via QR code, but you can also go up to the counter to order if you prefer. They have pastries, curries, burgers, and of course, omurice!! I tried the demiglace omurice and it was wonderful! The texture of the non-egg was amazing. You can also buy the egg and demiglace packets to take home with you and recreate them at home. My husband got the burger and he said it was good! We also got the yummy chocolate donut to finish off our meal. It was soft and fluffy and the chocolate wasn't too sweet.

Sold out of almost the whole menu ☹️ - Edit
I was disappointed on our visit as I’d been holding out all day for this, we made a side quest specifically to go here, and arrived with big appetites. Unfortunately the menu was sold out except for a few small side dishes, so had to settle for some tortilla chips and a couple of croissants. The restaurant is on the ground level of a shopping mall with tables crammed right next to each other and felt like a cafeteria, so not the nicest environment either (return your tray to the counter after eating, etc).

Cons: cramped cafeteria vibes, super limited options on our visit

Good for a quick meal - Edit
This is the place if you're in Ginza and want a quick bite. We had the salad, the avocado teriyaki burger, the omurice, and the chocolate cake. Food was pretty good as far as fast food goes. The cake, which was almost like a fudge, was the best—so rich and decadent! Service was fast and price was reasonable. Only downside is the setting being in a mall.

Lots of different menu options for food not usually available to vegans. Come here for variety - Edit
The croissant gratin was super cheesy with a satisfying texture, the teriyaki avocado burger had a nice blend of flavours although was quite slippy.
Read moreThe baked potato was a little soft for my crispy lovely tastebuds with a typical burger sauce flavour. Personally I wouldn’t get these again.
The craft cola was very very sweet and unusual (a bit like a haribo cola bottle).
The pumpkin cheesecake was light and fluffy.
The gateau was super chocolatey.
Pros: Bright space , Easy to order with qr system , Tasty unusual options
Cons: Quite rich and heavy food if you’re not expecting

It lives up to the hype - Edit
I wasn't sure if it would live up to the hype, but the food was really good. The burger was quite sizable and tasty. We also tried the croissant gratin, which had good flavor, a fun take on a gratin. The only oddity is the chocolate doughnut. I made the mistake of trying someone else's cheesecake and another person's gateau au chocolat. After the gâteau au chocolat, I could barely taste the doughnut, which is surprising to me considering the doughnut is the darling that everyone seems to photograph. Skip the doughnut and get the gateau, it paired well with the coffee too.

Really worth going - Edit

Good burger - Edit
Had a burger. I have been vegetarian/vegan for 24 years now but the burger taste reminded me of McDonald’s quite specially. The patty was more on the fake meat rather than vegetables side of the spectrum and it had gherkin and mustard.
