Read moreI loved visiting this place when I was in PV! I went 3 times and was always satisfied. The staff is lovely and the prices are amazing. My favorite items were the house fresh guacamole and the tacos al pastor. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our experience at 100% Vegana Taqueria in Puerto Vallarta was remarkably impressive. We were genuinely surprised by the exceptional quality and taste of their vegan tacos. Deciding to sample the entire menu, we found each taco to be a delightful representation of authentic Mexican flavors, skillfully crafted with plant-based ingredients. The variety and depth of taste were truly outstanding.

I had 3 tacos, pastor, birria and chorizo, all 3 were delicious and served with traditional mexican style sauces and lime wedges. The agua del dia was jamaica and was perfect! I will definitely be back soon.

We came here to try this vegan spot. We got the tamale of the day (red salsa), one chorizo taco, one milanesa taco, and a pizza Maya; and tropical drink. All of the food was superb!! My favorite though was the tamale and milanesa taco! I love how the restaurant is a very authentic Mexican restaurant because they also bring you salsas, pico de gallo, and limes to the table to add to your food; the green salsa was a little spicy and I loved it! The plates are also very traditional clay plates💗. The lime added to the flavor of all the food we ordered! The restaurant seemed to be family-run; they were welcoming, kind, attentive, and very nice! I would definitely recommend and return! I may try going back a second time while I’m here in PV!

We got great tacos here and also shared the molcajete mixta, which was fun to have. I’ve seen different molcajetes on tourist menus before but never had a vegan one. The nopales, jalapeños, mushrooms, and seitan Milanesa were all excellent; the soy meat was good enough and the hot dogs were a little weird. Fortunately it was so much food I didn’t mind leaving those behind. Each taco had a unique seasoning and good texture. Definitely recommend!

This place is about as authentic as you can get, but vegan. The flavour of their food never disappoints, and with a large variety of different tacos (as well as pizzas, and some appies) there's likely something appealing for everyone. The location is out of a garage, and open to the elements (hence the "authentic" vibe). Seating is available inside, under cover, or also outside by the street.

I came back twice and especially loved the birria, as well as the pastor con piña. The agua del Jamaica is also lovely. Absolutely must visit if you are in PV it’s the best vegan spot there!

My favourite in PV - Edit
There was food i liked in PV but this place, i LOVED. The taste is amazing & they even do an amazing spicy sauce which i think was a vegan queso. The meat here tastes good & doesn’t have a weird aftertaste which i found a lot of the vegan meat in PV had. This is the sort of place i would dream about eating on a cold afternoon back in Canada. Highly recommend. It is also good being sure its 100% vegan which is sometimes hard to confirm due to the language barrier.

This is my 3rd visit here. Amazing tacos, guacamole, chips, pico, etc... The malanesa taco was my favorite and asada was 2nd. The staff is super friendly and attentive.

We enjoyed the food here so much we came back multiple times just to buy their exceptional proteins--al pastor, asada, milanesa, birria, etc.--which we would use in our own meals--quality, vegan deliciousness. This place nourished us well during our time in PV!
