I went 'officially' vegan on the eve of my 16th birthday, in 1993. I am proud to be vegan, having fought breast cancer and conventional expectations. I worked for PETA as a Campaign Coordinator for Animals in 'Entertainment' and volunteered at many shelters and rescues throughout my years. I am currently working for a very unique and incredible dog rescue, Almost Home Dog Rescue NC and will never understand how anyone doesn't choose a vegan lifestyle.
