Hello, I am Cat, The Quirky Baker of C.A.T. Cafe Bakery (Coffee, Art, Tea) in Huntsville TX. While we are not vegan, we have great respect for the needs of the vegan community. When creating our cafe, we made sure to include vegan dishes in our offering. For example, our house-made French Onion Soup is purposely made with vegetable stock. For our gluten-free friends, we use almond flour to make the roux. Leave off the croutons and mozzarella, you have a true vegan French Onion Soup. Similarly with our house-made Tomato Basil soup, it is purposely made vegan. For the creamy folks, we can add that in for them, but it starts vegan. Our house-made pesto is also adjusted as vegan. We use that in a vegan Hummus Pesto Veggie Dip. We have oat milk alternative. And, we recently stocked new ice cream products and carry the one vegan ice cream option we were given. While it isn't financially feasible to be 100% vegan in our town, we ensure that you have options in our place. We hope you come see us when in town. Thank you for allowing us to be part of Happy Cow.
