Born in Ireland, growing in Kent I am a good food enthusiast celebrating 5 years being vegan/plant-based this Summer. My interest in a plant-based diet came from my mother. She had a heart attack when I was 15 resulting in her completely changing her diet and lifestyle to fight heart disease from within. I'm so happy that my mother, Mary, will be celebrating her 80th birthday this September. This inspired me to open "Mary and Vegan", now MandVegan- Food Powered by Plants.
