Hello We would like to clarify a few details from your review. First, it was your friend - a man who purchased the pho for you, but at no point did he mention that it was specifically for someone with celiac disease only gluten free. If that had been made clear, we would not have sold the dish. At that time, our staff clearly explained that although the pho itself does not contain gluten ingredients, our kitchen is not a certified gluten-free facility and therefore there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Your friend acknowledged this information and still decided to go ahead with the order. Second, the pho you are referring to was $18.50 plus tax, not $25. It’s important to share accurate information when leaving public reviews. When you later called us, rather than having a calm discussion, the tone was condescending as though you were calling to “educate” our staff even our staff already apologized for any misunderstanding or frustration caused but you hung up during the call. We already take dietary restrictions seriously, which is why our team is upfront about potential cross-contact. It is not realistic to expect any restaurant without dedicated facilities to guarantee zero cross-contamination, and we were transparent about this from the beginning. If what you really wanted was a refund, it would have been much easier to simply ask. Instead, the conversation turned into an unnecessary lecture that helped no one. We take allergies and dietary needs seriously, but honesty is a two-way street. Lying or exaggerating in a review is not good — it unfairly damages the reputation of a business that was upfront from the beginning.
