Hello, FYI, truffles are not vegan. In the way that yes it remains a fungus, so it's "vegetal" (I pass the debate that the mushrooms are neither plants nor animals), but the way of finding them isn't ethic. The different methods for harvesting are running (almost?) always around the use of animals. Dogs, pigs and bees are renowned for their sense of smell, they manage to find these truffles in the ground. Humans alone do not succeed. So who says the use of animals as tools says exploitation. Basically, no animals to find truffles = no truffles. And it's crazy that vegan brands/stores do not understand/knows that.
