Dear nbnb, We’re sorry to read that your experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. We’re a small, independent restaurant with just 26 seats and an open kitchen centred around a charcoal BBQ. That setup is very much part of our identity ; it allows us to cook everything to order over live fire, but it can occasionally mean that some cooking aromas make their way into the room, especially during busy services. Regarding the food, we’re genuinely surprised by your feedback. Our dishes are all made in-house, with seasonal ingredients sourced from local organic producers, and a lot of care goes into both flavour and technique. While presentation matters, substance is always our priority. We always encourage guests to share feedback with us during the meal... we would have gladly adjusted or replaced anything that wasn’t to your liking.
